Trust me, that line stripper is fantastic stripping out a large deep surf style spool - does it so quickly

I'll be honest, I've never tried personally. However, looking up specs, it only says fits various size spools. I do know it has the capability of setting it for a larger spool.. Hope that helps..

In my use, it depends on the reel and direction of the spool itself. Some reels I use over the top... others via the bottom
