LALALALA is actually nominated for this year's VMA award. Stay, today is the last day to vote!! Let's get them 2nd win *EDIT: VOTING PERIOD HAS BEEN EXTENDED, you can still vote
if you're enjoying Changbin and Han's rapping then check out 3racha and Heyday by the rap sub-unit 3racha. That is Chan, Changbin and Han that do the majority of the writing and producing for SKZ. There are lyric videos for both song.
their energy and creativity is unmatched. it would be worth it to watch the video “3racha being the geniuses behind stray kids” to get a speed run by the producers in the group about their music, it’s very very cool. and then albums in order is the best idea to get the full picture of the growth in production and creativity. you can see the little seeds of what they’re trying to get at when they were 16-19 producing their first album and when it finally fully clicks. they’re a fantastic group to watch grow, especially in their creative element
I’m about to show my age here but oh well lol… back when I had a pager and you wanted to tell someone I love you, we’d page them with 143. So for me Case 143 was kind of a nostalgic song. Also, the video has TONS of references to The Shining which was released in the 80s when pagers started gaining popularity.
You mentioned about the filming for their MVs, they do have behind the scenes videos for a lot of their MVs, particularly the main singles/title tracks on their channel FYI. Super interesting & fun to check out😁👌🏽
Your reactions are so enjoyable to watch. i love how well you catch the meaning behind mv and songs. I will be following ur skz reaction. Thank you so much
Gotta say I absolutely love your reactions, they’re so educative and at times really help me see things/concepts I didn’t originally noticed. As of album reactions, i truly can’t wait for you to experience them. One of my favourite of there’s the “5 Star Album”. As for the dance practice, I totally agree with you, reacting to the dances you’ve heard, it helps put the song into image which just as Straykids tend to match their songs to visuals, the do the same for the dance chore’s. They add very unique dynamics and creativity to them. One of my fave are “Domino”, “Easy”, “Thunderous “, Lalalala” Again, thank you for your reactions! Looking forward to more😊❤
Stray kids give clues throughout or toward end of their Music Videos at times for STAYS. 4 Chinese characters clues in video "joy" "anger" "sorrow" and "pleasure" characters disappeard only pleasure remain at end. Children band younger version of themselves. Kids felt pleasure while performing on stage. "CASE" 143 have clue throughout video. 1=I, 4=Love, 3=You which add up to all 8 members saying I Love You. Red Lights Concept overcoming/fighting your inner demons and the compulsion to be perfect in all aspects of your life. Base on the heavy mirroring each other can assume they represent the different sides of the same person. Video starts with both of them struggling against chains that are there to restrain and limit their movement more than anything.
Chan and Hyunjin wrote and produced Red Lights together. They such an amazing job. Another one they did together is Cover Me, it's a beautiful balled for the whole group. Red Lights was my first Stray Kids song, lol. Still my favorite. Taste is another great one. Chan has new solo, theres only a live version so far, called Railway that has a similar feel.
The other subunit songs that were on their full NOEASY album also have different M/V's It is one of my top 2 fav albums along with Oddinary album. Love your Stray Kids reactions and can't wait to hear your thoughts on their diverse discography!
In Case 143 mv, the two types of stray kids (cops vs. brightly colored outfits) is basically a representation of the battle between your head and your heart... your feelings and logic when you start developing feelings for someone. Towards the end of the mv, logic (the cops) were about to win when they pulled out the plug (disconnecting from emotions). But, Seungmin comes in and "rewinds" the mv and after Changbin's chorus, Chan comes in and the lyrics are "I'm just gonna let you go that I'm just gonna go," basically saying he's gonna stop listening to his head and start listening to his heart and take the chance on his feelings! This was my interpretation of it at least :)
okay, first. i LOVE your guidelines. i feel like every reaction channel that reacts to anything kpop related needs to have a warning for the fandoms. cause they get crazy. second, i love how genuinely happy you are in these. it legitimately puts a smile on my face. third, i absolutely love how you are appreciating the music & every single person in the group. & lastly, BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO! for remembering the names so quickly. shoot, i still get mixed up because there are so many.
Absolutely loving your Stray Kids journey, & can't wait to see you check out other Skz content! I agree that dance practice videos are awesome but shouldn't be the first way you hear a song! Personal opinion if you are doing full album reactions, start at the beginning and go from there. It's the best way to watch them grow and experiment with their sound. But anything you decide, I'm here for it lol!
You can start from the first album till the latest, but if you want to start to listen to their best album ever, that would be "5-STAR", the best K-pop album ever that got over 5.13 million copies in pre-orders!! That album won best Top K-Pop Album at BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS and Best K-Pop at MTV VMAs.
if u wanna watch live performances you should watch their kingdom performances! it was show they were on where different groups compete with performances. stray kids ended up winning the competition too! my favorite one was one they did called "ill be ur man" there was a lot of emotion in it and I just loved it
I am all for your Album reactions because there are a lot of their B sides with different favors and intensity. Instead of starting from the 1st album, I think it will be more fun to start with their milestone album, NoEasy, Oddinary, Maxident, 5 Stars, Rock Star and the most recent Ate. And then you can go back to their pre-debut album and onwards.
I love these songs/mvs so much, I've heard/seen them so many times, but you helped me experience so much more from them. Ty❤. Can't wait for you to do the album reviews. They have so many different sounds!
So the other did do songs Changbin, Lee Know and Felix did a song called Surfin and Han, Seungmin, and I.N did a song called gone away both have music videos
i cant wait for the album reactions!!! honestly I think it could be fun if you went backwards with the albums, or of course you could go from pre-debut!
Going from lalalala mv to case 143 mv is kinda crazy actually hahahaha so much going on! Lots of energy as always from stray kids :) love 143 production probably has the strongest link to the lyrics out of all skz songs to me personally. The sweet love sound, the chaotic, the hard verses cutting in randomly all matched the type of love lyric they were saying and matched the overall confused love message of the song. That song was absolutely huge in Japan! The next year did they did a skz song called social path with Lisa, a huge Japanese singer who has done lots of anime openings such as demon slayer. I really recommend that song if you haven’t yet!
I agree, i have to see the MV before watching the dance practice. There actually is a Domino MV! Everyone just prefers the dance practice because it's THAT good.
@@rxcharxgers actually, I take it back. That was a fan created MV using the teaser to cover the whole song. Just noticed it wasn't JYPE or Stray Kids page
I absolutely love your reactions!! You catch so many things, some things I haven’t seen even after watching the videos 100 times or more. Thanks for reacting to stray kids!
Dont ever get discouraged, your videos are one of the most entertaining reactions out there, in my opinion. And I say this as someone who watches a lot of them. Keep doing what your doing. As for SKZ reactions, Id reccomend you start with the oldest and then work up to the newest albums, so you can really see the kids growth.
I love listening to how you analyze not only the songs but the music videos as well as the overall production of the song!! its super fun, and I'm glad that you are enjoying the songs + the mvs :))
It may have already been mentioned, but SKZ content also includes behind the scenes recording sessions for their albums. It’s great content, as you get to see their recording/production interactions, and their raw talent. They also talk about the album in general, the significance of the songs chosen, and so much more. It’s a great insight into all of them, and their thoughts The one for Rock Star has a great explanation of all the LaLaLaLa music video elements
(not that you can go wrong) but you sure had an interesting line-up in these 4! Definitely a great way for folks unfamiliar with SKZ to get a great idea of their incredible range within the discography. Enjoying your reactions, hope you continue to check them out (even if it is on your own)! Case 143, I believe, is their story of a person experiencing the first pangs of love. The thrilling & confusing emotions which you try to analyze (police) to figure out what's going on -- and then in the last chorus version just deciding to throw caution to the wind and go for it.
If you like Back Door you ought to react to BTOB’s rock version of this song on Kingdom Legendary War, each group including Stray Kids (won first place, Ateez wins second place) had to pick a song and “make it” their own. Stray Kids reaction to BTOB doing their song is hilarious. 😂 Then the Mayfly rap, dance & vocal lines are amazing!!! Ateez ,Stray Kids & BTOB competing together in each category. Their performances on this reality show do NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!!! 53yr old Stay & Atiny here.
I believe the sound you're referring to in Back Door is the claves. 143 is how we used to say I love you back in the pager days. Red Lights is one of my fav songs by Stray KIds. I love your videos. You have such a chill vibe/voice. I like hype reaction videos too but it's so nice to listen to you talking. You should read audio books
If youre interested it stuff other than MVs, there are behind the sceens of most MVs. They also have recording scenes (them in the studio) if youre interested
Highly recommend the album 5-star, the title track is S-Class (which you've already heard) and all the songs are super diverse and unique. It's my fav album from them
Love your reactions!! These are all great songs!! Bang Chan just did a live performance of an unreleased song on their tour people are calling red lights 2.0 🔥 They have a live performance with OT8 of red lights and holyyyy it is sooo good!! Ps. no I’m with you on checking out the dance practices after the mv. But if you ever want to check out the song alongsode the dance I will say some groups have performance videos where they play the song over the video so you won’t get the echo sound you get from a dance practice. Always enjoy your reactions!!
I think the best would be if you go from the beginning to the last when checking out their albums and solo songs that aren't in any albums. When you make full album reactions, put sections where you react to each song so people can jump around the video and watch one reaction they like.
I agree not to react to a song with dance practices, but if you’re into choreography the dance practice is the way to really see it. The music videos only give a small part of the choreography.
