Great video, been struggling how to approach a similar venue near me. It’s definitely a feeder water and wasn’t sure if I should go with a method or cage feeder. I’ll be trying both like this. Great advice , thank you
Another great video, great to see a fisherman enjoy just catching doesn’t matter what the fish is. Have a little challenge for you, I run a small fishing club on the Riverside Caravan Park Bridgnorth, through out the year we will have 8 matches, 4 on Boldings Pools Bridgnorth and 4 on our own Stretch of the river seven 16 pegs. Would love you to join in on one of the river matches, can be very difficult and challenging, even our last match no barbless showed so it was down to roach and perch,, leading the match was Keith with 6lb 10z of perch, where I was still to weigh in, one of the lads said, don’t worry about Neil he has only had bleak, 7lb 15oz to whin the match.😂😂😂 If you wanted to accept the challenge I’m sure we could get you catered for overnight in one of the caravan, Have power sockets close by for the crew if needed. Would love to get a response thanks Neil.
great vid jamie , can i ask when you said about using a 50cm hook length on your cage feeder and you mentioned that sometimes you might have to shorten the hook length if the fish are going to the feeder , how in the session would you know the fish are going to the feeder to maybe shorten it .
Hi ray if your tip is showing lots of indications but not any real sort of bites like good pull rounds and your hook bait has not been touched then the fish are just eating at the feeder hoovering up what is out the feeder. so if you shorten the hook length to bring it closer to the feeder so they should see it while eating from around the feeder and be able to take it and give you a proper bite hope this helps mate tight lines.

Quarry pool Aston Eyre. Pole, waggler, and bomb all work there. There are some big carp in there, and they come out regularly
