Elvis. Could sing anything. Country blues rock gospel. ANYTHING. and make it sound better than the original. He didn’t write his songs back in 54. 55. People did that for him

Little known fact.. Elvis was naturally gifted in music AND acting. He never took any classes or went to any schools for acting. Quite rare indeed. He was a singer, actor, and not to mention his good looks made him a triple threat to the ladies. Wish i had that... sigh...🙄

I came across this reaction again looking through your playlist and I was really struck This Time by how late in the reaction at one point you were pointing out what he was doing with his voice and like let me just play with this stuff man. The ways did he inflects it and the way that he delivers the rhythm of it and all that. I've been a singer and a songwriter and played in bands most of my life. And believe me I've thought a lot about this. But I really started liking the early all this stuff in my twenties and it wasn't until I was older that I appreciated his older stuff. But at any rate, yeah I've always been astounded if you really break it down, you can do it like within a given word, he does that thing where he'll like deliver the beginning of the first sound and then draw it out and then deliver it, he adds extra syllables in there all the time with just breathy noises and guttural stuff which makes it rhythmic. He's using his voice as a drum but he was also such a talented singer that it was always melodic, what a Magic combination and then he has all the attitude to go with it and the passion and the emotion. I'm glad you pointed that out. I think most people listen to him and don't really understand all of that stuff that's going on under the hood.

Worth hearing again and again! If I had to pick a favorite of the King this would be it. Thanks. You're the first person to react to this fabulous song. Maybe this is the song that made Dylan and Eddie Murphy want to be Elvis.
John Lennon said it was I Want You, I Need You, I Love You that did it for him.

Love the channel; love the channel and I think if you really delve into Elvis' catalogue, you'll definitely find why he is considered so great, because he could simply sing anything! While for rockin' out Elvis, I like when he just picks up the electric guitar and lays into 'Trying to Get to You' from the 1968 Comeback Special! God bless and good luck, my friend!!!

You're looking at the Young Elvis around 1957 original movie is Jailhouse Rock that was originally black and white colorized it that's Elvis's way he singing the day then but that rockabilly rock and roll style which even got better after came out of the army he sang his ballots with what you called by Berto they said Elvis kissing five octaves I know it could do tenor and others he was in five music Halls of Fame one for Rock and Roll country music gospel and rhythm and blues he was an Entertainer the 20th century he had 33 movies 4. Which 1954 and five was just the getting paying his dues and getting ready and then he hit it big and 56 until he passed away in 1977 which will be 45 years this August 16th which we all need to have an Elvis Day on TH-cam he is the king of music he's the most handsome the most charismatic the most handsome the best singer with the best moves the best Stage presence Smiles little curled up right lip eagle nest Hawking voice with sexy as he aged some his voice got really deeper he had a 24-year career altogether just come to install that he did like I said 33 movies the 68 Comeback Special 73 Aloha from Hawaii special 1960 Frank Sinatra special plus all of the variety shows he did in the fifties where they got on ring Nevada shaking so they just found them for the waist up 8 Changed music for all time Entertainer of the 20th century do you know that did all that and just maybe 24 year time span and he was only 42 when he passed he had so much more to give us and worn out he was a generous man and gave away a lot of money money to Charities money to all of his friends Rings cars had to play a player since pans and with his drug problem at the end there is what helped take them out but he did have enlarged heart and a liver problem in a colon problem and glaucoma and still was going onstage this sick as they were seeing his last performance live he should have been in the hospital not on stage it's really sick then but he had a agent that took 50% of his winnings that is unheard of most agents I would think would be thirty or forty percent the colonel Parker took 50% of all Elvis's money and that's saying now probably some of Elvis has money that Elvis didn't know about but Elvis was loyal very loyal to him but he was young and naive and after Sam Phillips of Sun records sold his contract for $25,000 2rca that's where Parker came in as an agent then there should have been someone there to advise the boy has country boys from Tupelo Mississippi that was raised up or dirt poor and learn to sing and rock and roll and with the black people and I like a holy-roller types churches is what I call him this these were can't churches he only had one wife but many many many many girlfriends but I think she was the love of his life she's the one that keeps Graceland going in Memphis Tennessee is considered a museum sick this is second only to the White House her name is Priscilla Presley he had one daughter Lisa Marie three granddaughters and a great son that passed away by suicide last year I tried to sum it up in a nutshell this is the king of Music we're talkin about AKA Elvis Junkie please excuse my errors as they are many as as I read over it but I'm 77 and I have to use one of those pencils or the microphone you know the pencils that you do on the keypad and then microphone doesn't pick up exactly what I say so if the mistakes is too far back to going delete I just go with it and hope you can figure it out while I was trying to say

The next time Elvis might sing it differently. He had that hiccup sound going on this. He definitely made this up on the spur of the moment in his early years. This was a scene from his 3rd movie, Jailhouse Rock in 1957.
