      @@kijj2212 The USA wants to be friends with every country, and I think has been their goal since the end of WW2. In my opinion the USA is the main reason there has not been a major war between top powers since. There has been more peace and prosperity globally since the USA became the world's superpower post WW2 by continuously gaining allies and working together with as many countries as they can. Humanity would be better off if we could all work together instead of the constant war prior to WW2.
      Of course the USA has been in many smaller wars since WW2, but they seem to try to stop communism, dictatorships, and genocide. They are also the only nation in history that helps rebuild a nation that they are at war with and engage in war in the most humane ways possible. (when possible)

I also do not see other nations help by giving food, money, medicine to less fortunate nations.
      I am not from the USA but it is pretty clear how much they want to unite the world and share wealth compared to any nation in history. I think the issue lies in the fact some nations do not evolve and wish to live like barbaric cavemen.

    Quick note: The US took on a 2 front policy due to WW2. When the US entered WW2, it was only capable of a single front. But Japan came out of nowhere. So the US said, "screw dat, that's not going to happen again". So basically the US has plenty of military to cover more than 1 conflict at a time.

    • @fionnmaccumhaill3257

      Japan didn't come out of nowhere! FDR wanted to get into the war, but campaigned on keeping the US out of war. So he provoked it in the East and the West. In the East, he provoked it be cutting off Japan's oil supply in the middle of their war against China. They got nearly all their oil from the US, so they didn't really have a choice but to turn on the USA which is exactly what FDR wanted. Read a book and don't get your historical from the History Channel.

    • @hexapuma12

      There are so many things wrong about this statement I don’t know where to begin. The USA was not capable of fighting on an any front war at the start of WWII. This is as a response to the casualties suffered in WWI. The USA was going through a period of isolationism. Japan didn’t come out of nowhere. The USA was well aware of their threat. They specifically moved the US Pacific Fleet from the west coast to Pearl Harbor in response to Japan. The Japanese just out fought the US in the initial part of the war.

    • @stevekilby8106
      @stevekilby8106 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To say the US could fight on one front at the beginning of WW2 is totally incorrect. At the beginning of WW2 the Germans had 400 active divisions, Japan had 200 and America had 1, we couldn’t defend our own homeland let alone fight anywhere else. Out dated equipment, no front line aircraft, we would of had our butts kicked. The American people were so anti war that any company producing anything for the military was frowned upon by the American public. Only after we were attacted did we get a wake up call.

    • @elbruces
      @elbruces 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Point being, due to the US fighting WW2 in two theatres half a globe apart, the US military has had a top-level mission of always being capable of fighting at least two full-scale conflicts simultaneously anywhere in the world.

    The US has 11 air craft carriers. The rest of the world have . . 11 air craft carriers. This isn't as close as it looks as each US aircraft carrier can hold up to 90 planes while most of the other nations aircraft carriers can hold only around 45 planes with some, such as China's Liaoning, carrying fewer planes than that. There's a reason for this though. Most countries don't really need them. The US has to have them because most of our combat takes place far from home so we have to carry our toys there. Most countries stay close to home. Of course, this makes it impossible for them to reach us while we can still reach them.

      Hands down China has us beat with the shear number of soldiers. But ours have superior equipment and training. With drones and other equipment the enemy would for the most part never even see the soldier that killed them.

    • @Seastallion
      @Seastallion 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As a Navy guy, I would think that the absolute need for mobility to be effective regardless of numbers would be obviously apparent. China's large military is very much locked down into a geographic prison. It has hostile enemies nearby in almost all directions. China may have a lot of "boats" (and I DO mean boats), but they are small and have much limited range, unlike the true deep sea navigation capabilities of the US Navy. The NAME of China's Navy (The People's Liberation Army Navy) tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about the priority it takes within the Chinese government. Whereas the US is effectively a geographical Island Continent, and our Navy is our primary means for engaging with the rest of the world. Our other branches are very impressive in their own right, but it is the US Navy that the world looks to for global security.
      By the way, I'm an Air Force vet and I acknowledge this. Of course my dad is retired Navy and I went through Navy JROTC in High School, so I have some appreciation for the Navy that other veterans might not have. In fact, if we were to make military budget cuts, the Navy is the one branch I'd want excluded from them.

      @@Bluedruid13 Numbers mean nothing if you can't properly train, equip, and feed them. Countries like China, Russia, and North Korea are infamous for not effectively supplying their manpower with the essentials to perform to the best of their abilities. That's the problem with boasting high numbers, you have to be able to maintain and upgrade those numbers over the long-term in sustainable ways. China may have more bodies to throw at the United States for example, but if they don't have the proper infrastructure to get those troops from point A to point B, that is a bottleneck that severely cripples any lethality high numbers would normally present. Mind you, in those countries, their manpower is huge because it is based off of conscription. Our military is generally all volunteer, as in people choose to do it for one reason or another. Even then, we still boast huge numbers that rivals the rest of the world.

      The new weapon is actually real time networking. For instance, a F-35 is sent to destroy a warehouse. The ground radar picks up a column of enemy tanks. This information is then sent to another weapon system such as artillery which immediately fires on the enemy convoy. Up the scale and you can see how quickly the U.S. can melt the enemy.
