We have a cat that has the tendency to stay outside till quite late at night in the summer and so we calm him off and in till we go to bed and then wait and he will come home when he’s ready

So I decided that I would help in the class rooms so that the kids would get use to being around some one like me because I was born disabled. With in a short time they eventually got use to me. Then they would become friends with my kid. It got to the point if they seen me out of the classroom and was walking with my Son they would tap him on his shoulder and say there's your mom. Of course he would get embarrassed and say yeah. I would look at them and say hi. We just got to the point where he didn't see any different than anyone else. Which is the way I wanted the world to see me. They also brought a girl in a wheelchair into the school which I was so glad to see.

Michigan country girl here, I use this stuff you spray yourself called Biffin I. T. It's safe for around on plants, house garage and safe around animals after dry. Kills ants, mosquitoes, wasps,yellow jackets, ticks and more. Works awesome 👌
Try slow cooking your Corned beef in a crockpot, using beer for the cooking liquid. It's really good. This time I used a non-alcoholic Guinness, and it still turned out having a good taste. I can't say how the beer flavor would be on the vegetables, because I always roast my vegetable in the oven separate from the corned beef.

My dad had an Irish mum and a Scottish dad but he was born in New Zealand so he was a New Zealander. Im a New Zealander. I was born here, all I know is this country, the country my folks and their folks came from has little bearing on me except for the crazy mix of traditions and odd food choices. But I am not Irish, German, English or Scottish.
I get those zappers and would hang 3 in my back yard and they worked a whole summer and usually had to be replaced each year I got the cheapest every year

Also, people say we are pale.....we say we are "alabaster" lol My grandfather was a redheaded Jackie Gleason....both named John but had Jack as their nickname.....a drinker, heavyset, and loud....but soooo much fun! And recently, I found out that Jackie Gleason was actually Irish. You guys might be too young to know who Jackie Gleason was.

I love corn beef and hash. And I love shepherd pie but my man does not eat beef. So with the Shepherd pie I have used venison, pork, or chicken.
