- There is a distinguishing difference of meaning between Jesus and Christ. His given name was Jesus; his honorific title was “Christ.” In his little human body called Jesus was born the vast Christ Consciousness, the omniscient Intelligence of God omnipresent in every part and particle of creation. This Consciousness is the “only begotten Son of God,” so designated because it is the sole perfect reflection in creation of the Transcendental Absolute, Spirit or God the Father.
It was of that Infinite Consciousness, replete with the love and bliss of God, that Saint John spoke when he said: “As many as received him [the Christ Consciousness], to them gave he power to become the sons of God.” ...
By the definite science of meditation known for millenniums to the yogis and sages of India, and to Jesus, any seeker of God can enlarge the caliber of his consciousness to omniscience-to receive within himself the Universal Intelligence of God.

I’ve discovered Yogananda few years back but didn’t take the time to study ,I was caught in other things or should I say trapped. These writings are amazing very inspiring and full of wisdom. He is mentioning that Christ is the owner of the universe. Even though I’ve been trying to stay away from Christ,Yogananda is another link to him. Honestly I am not excited,I think Christ is cold and distant,I’ve been struggling with this for years. I had many dreams about him to the point of asking not to have dreams anymore,it stopped finally and after 40 years I’ve finally understood my dreams . I don’t really know who Christ is but as of right now can’t see him as love,he is brutal and indifferent,at least in this movie. Yogananda knew something that surpasses the depths of my soul,maybe in another life.
When I saw a bumper sticker that read, “Jesus, save me from your followers” I was able to separate Jesus from the deluded among his followers and look at it all through a different lens. Also, reading the very accessible religious scholar Reza Aslan’s book Zealot (highly recommend) gave an excellent account of Jesus the man in the context of his day and age. I’m still working through all sorts of baggage around this topic, but I trust the wisdom of Yogananda so I work on “improving my knowing”. Good luck in your journey.
Christ Consciousness?

To a child his parents represent God. We come from our parents, totally depend on them as a baby and learn how to relate from them. Later we conclude, that God is like our father, loving, or cold and distant. It takes the revelation, that God is a perfect father, not like our earthly parents, that can be damaged and unable to love. Other people in our lives also. We seek love, but can be disappointed. God is the very blueprint of love. That is why we seek him.
Some people have to be afraid of their parents, they tend to think that God is all rules and regulations and that you can not please him. We tend to imagine God like we have come to know those that had power over our lives. Those people. But God i s love, real love.

Wealth is not a problem, it has been done. Enlightened kings have existed. It is incredibly unlikely to be wealthy and not be attached to wealth, that is the problem that is so common that most people can’t handle it.
Put the Divine first. Seek wealth with God consciousness

my question is: if God is perfection, how could ever create such a world of illusion and suffering? why? because we are bound to realize who we are? again, why? it's a kind of trap. To share joy, he could have created only worlds of joy and consciousness.
Come to me to learn resurrection, says a person who’s never resurrected himself. If you think you got it, brother please … why haven’t you resurrected bodily like The Christ? it’s one thing to talk, it’s another thing to do. How are people not understanding the fundamental difference between talkers and doers. “By their fruits ye shall know them” … truly. I can also teach on resurrection. Will you take my advice? If not, why not?
