My first spiritual teacher was a direct disciple of Paramahamsa Yogananda in Honolulu, Hawaii. He gave Kriya initiation. This is akin to Shaktipat diksha, the awakening of the sacred kundalini shakti, which assures final liberation of the meditator. My own true Guru gave me this great gift out of His compassion for humanity. Then, sometime later, I was asking the great question, "Who am I?" I had a powerful breakthrough and my mind just disappeared. I was free for about two hours before the mind resumed its activity. However, my entire life changed for the better after that remarkable shift in Consciousness. Now, I am at peace with myself, with God and with humanity and Nature. Love for God is the path and the destination is unconditional LOVE.
I left the Christian church and Jesus behind very early in life. The church did not help me through painful childhood experiences. But I began my search for the truth and first read Yogandai's book, Autobiograpshy of a Yogi. I could not travel to all the exotic spiritual places. I found shamans, other people on the path, and even found a small Buddhist monistary where I lived for a year. All the while, I was hearing from consciousness in the star realm. Now near the end of this life sojourn at 80, I was found by Him six years ago. I was not looking for Jesus, but He found me. I hear his voice clearly and I began to write His words. I turned to Yoganada for I remember He spoke of Jesus. I read and studied his words too. I know I hear truth in this video. Jesus is in all of us, speaking to us all the time. I was following no particular path, but He found me anyway. I do not know why He came for me except He said he comes after those sheep who have gone astray. I was one of them. And His love fills me everyday. And I have been healed from so many inner wounds and darkness.
I was on a pilgrimage in Mother India with my Guru. At one particular holy shrine, I had a spontaneous vision of Jesus the Christ with arms outstretched and rays of other worldly Light radiating all around Him. We call it darshan, the sight of a divine incarnation. Jesus was an avatar, the Divine descended into human form. He played out his leela, his divine play, for the benefit of all sentient Beings. Such is His Love, that He did all this out of His love for humanity. He is still very much available to those who have faith in Him and His blessings.
About a year ago, I woke up to the soft voice of a woman saying "Now listen to the voice of your Master, for He will speak". I kept my eyes closed, and suddenly I felt myself being drawn upward, spiraling upward, as I heard a man's voice speaking. He spoke in a serious tone, like when an older brother apprehends us. When it was all over, I felt a dizzying descent and woke up, in tears, as the feeling of stasis is very strong. I only remember his last words "This is man's last chance". Since I was a child, I have had spiritual experiences, such as astral exits or memories of past lives. Since this particular experience, I have dreamed twice about Jesus Christ, both very enlightening dreams. Jesus Christ is great, good and generous. He continues here, among all of us, within each of us, working incessantly.
Remember the stillness the humbleness the Christ like attitude that brought those beautiful experiences to you and in living in that light then it will stay closer into your spiritual soul heart🎉❤❤ Namaste
I trust Yogananda's take on Christ Jesus. By bringing the true understanding of Christ Consciousness, he appealed to many Americans who might not have been able to relate to his Hindu philosophies and spiritual practices. The book, The Autobiography of a Yogi, was a best-seller and a great intro to the miraculous possibilities of Yoga, especially Kriya Yoga.

Wow. This is my first time finding your channel & am so grateful for blessing of finding channel dedicated to Teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, who was clearly illuminated by Christ Spirit & Mind. I never heard such a beautiful description & resonance of Truth of Christ Teaching. I did not know how much Paramahansa was influenced by Truth of Christ Teaching & though I've always loved Paramahansa & felt him a True Holy man, I never was moved to dive deeper & my search for Truth led me through other paths & channels. So is so interesting to me that this beautiful video of his words should appear at this time I am in process of deeper surrender to PrESSENCE of God Within & asking for Divine Assistance & am receiving it in numerous ways, especially as I'm willing to face & take responsibility for all challenges I'm facing right now. I will never forget when Jesus first came to me years back. I didn’t even believe in him until he came to me. He’s my guardian angel. I have known Yogananda for almost 50 years and I know the Bible quite well. There is an interesting difference between his teachings and the gospel that I think is important. Yogananda adapts the gospel message to his self-redeeming yoga teachings. The message of Jesus completely excludes self-redemption, because redemption from guilt (karma) is accomplished through Jesus' act of redemption for those who follow him and his teachings. That this is the case was precisely predicted in 700 BC by Isaiah (53). Anyone who does not know this prophecy should definitely read it in order to understand what Jesus' sacrificial death means.

I lost so much materially, financially and suffered emotional trauma living with a spouse who was a drunk and abuser whom I forgave, looked after, and protected. Living like that was like lighting a candle with which to see and him coming to put it out. In the end I was ruined lost much ground spiritually. He died, my Christian friends took his place and once again frustration sniffed out the small light of God Consciousness that I was trying to grow and protect, it was constantly being destroyed. And how is it that a follower of Sri Yogananda explains the Christ Consciousness more beautifully than I have heard in many a Christian church for a long time.😢Thank you. But I am running out time to grow spiritually if I continue forgiving others wrongful ways behaviours ,I won't give them my right chic to hit on .I am saying I am crying to exist alone and grow spiritually,get away from hyenas ,jackals and valchures who even want me to confess the name of the Jesus and his blood saying this is is all that is needed, when clearly their Christian lives are pathetic, often quoting Bible verse one after another and joining the verses nicely together all day long .😢
I think you misunderstood what forgiveness is. You don’t trust people when they hurt you. Trust is earned. It’s there part to ask for forgiveness and stop sinning. The last part you said you’re always getting hurt and the Cristian life is pathetic. It’s time to grow up. Life sucks sometimes. Jesus was crucified for doing the right things and didn’t even drink wine to drown his sorrows. Man up Jesus is called the son of man for an example to you.
@@jessycombs7598 I find that time does decay the hurt in my life, like if the wrong was big up to 2 years to be forgotten and I don't usually ask God to help me out. As for sin, it does not go away from the body by just growing up and some of the people in the church will stop sinning when they go to the grave. The Creative Force of God or Holy Spirit is great at decaying sins and helping remove weakness in the personality such a anger, short temper, gossip and only if you practice righteousness in Spirit.
Your spiritual journey is just beginning. Being a human bieng on planet earth is like being in nursery school spiritually. I'm mean look at us all groping around in ignorance. Your spiritual journey will end when you arrive where you originally started from. You started out as God before anything was created there was only the creator. So everything and every being in existence was the creator in their original form. So this is the system God built and we are merely along for the ride on the amusement park ride/Rollercoaster that God built for himself to enjoy and share the experience with all his Infinite children which are only mini versions of himself. So what I am saying is relax enjoy the ride I only gets better from here. Once our rooms are clean all the dirty laundry is off the floor. Then we are done the journey and rest for eternity in our perfect original state which is none other than the God that everyone prays to. Hope that helps. Also you are correct the whole Jesus cult doesn't see the whole picture and doesn't really have a proper concept on how gods creation actually works. See you at the end of the road😉

I left the Christian church and Jesus behind very early in life. The church did not help me through painful childhood experiences.
But I began my search for the truth and first read Yogandai's book, Autobiograpshy of a Yogi.
I could not travel to all the exotic spiritual places. I found shamans, other people on the path, and even found a small Buddhist monistary where I lived for a year. All the while, I was hearing from consciousness in the star realm.
Now near the end of this life sojourn at 80, I was found by Him six years ago. I was not looking for Jesus, but He found me. I hear his voice clearly and I began to write His words. I turned to Yoganada for I remember He spoke of Jesus. I read and studied his words too.
I know I hear truth in this video. Jesus is in all of us, speaking to us all the time. I was following no particular path, but He found me anyway. I do not know why He came for me except He said he comes after those sheep who have gone astray. I was one of them. And His love fills me everyday.
And I have been healed from so many inner wounds and darkness.
I was on a pilgrimage in Mother India with my Guru. At one particular holy shrine, I had a spontaneous vision of Jesus the Christ with arms outstretched and rays of other worldly Light radiating all around Him. We call it darshan, the sight of a divine incarnation. Jesus was an avatar, the Divine descended into human form. He played out his leela, his divine play, for the benefit of all sentient Beings. Such is His Love, that He did all this out of His love for humanity. He is still very much available to those who have faith in Him and His blessings.
About a year ago, I woke up to the soft voice of a woman saying "Now listen to the voice of your Master, for He will speak". I kept my eyes closed, and suddenly I felt myself being drawn upward, spiraling upward, as I heard a man's voice speaking. He spoke in a serious tone, like when an older brother apprehends us. When it was all over, I felt a dizzying descent and woke up, in tears, as the feeling of stasis is very strong. I only remember his last words "This is man's last chance". Since I was a child, I have had spiritual experiences, such as astral exits or memories of past lives. Since this particular experience, I have dreamed twice about Jesus Christ, both very enlightening dreams. Jesus Christ is great, good and generous. He continues here, among all of us, within each of us, working incessantly.

By bringing the true understanding of Christ Consciousness, he appealed to many Americans who might not have been able to relate to his Hindu philosophies and spiritual practices. The book, The Autobiography of a Yogi, was a best-seller and a great intro to the miraculous possibilities of Yoga, especially Kriya
Yoga.
Jesus Christ.essence healed me, and made me feel good in times, I was in a painful detox, im now clean, and sober, practice yoga, meditation, and college, Im grateful to Christ
This video has to be the single best tool to listen to on a daily basis to understand Christs teachings and remember to walk embracing the spirit of Christ everyday. I think I will download this and listen to it daily.

I have known Yogananda for almost 50 years and I know the Bible quite well. There is an interesting difference between his teachings and the gospel that I think is important. Yogananda adapts the gospel message to his self-redeeming yoga teachings. The message of Jesus completely excludes self-redemption, because redemption from guilt (karma) is accomplished through Jesus' act of redemption for those who follow him and his teachings. That this is the case was precisely predicted in 700 BC by Isaiah (53). Anyone who does not know this prophecy should definitely read it in order to understand what Jesus' sacrificial death means.

I lost so much materially, financially and suffered emotional trauma living with a spouse who was a drunk and abuser whom I forgave, looked after, and protected. Living like that was like lighting a candle with which to see and him coming to put it out. In the end I was ruined lost much ground spiritually. He died, my Christian friends took his place and once again frustration sniffed out the small light of God Consciousness that I was trying to grow and protect, it was constantly being destroyed. And how is it that a follower of Sri Yogananda explains the Christ Consciousness more beautifully than I have heard in many a Christian church for a long time.😢Thank you. But I am running out time to grow spiritually if I continue forgiving others wrongful ways behaviours ,I won't give them my right chic to hit on .I am saying I am crying to exist alone and grow spiritually,get away from hyenas ,jackals and valchures who even want me to confess the name of the Jesus and his blood saying this is is all that is needed, when clearly their Christian lives are pathetic, often quoting Bible verse one after another and joining the verses nicely together all day long .😢

I think you misunderstood what forgiveness is. You don’t trust people when they hurt you. Trust is earned. It’s there part to ask for forgiveness and stop sinning.
The last part you said you’re always getting hurt and the Cristian life is pathetic. It’s time to grow up. Life sucks sometimes. Jesus was crucified for doing the right things and didn’t even drink wine to drown his sorrows. Man up Jesus is called the son of man for an example to you.
@@jessycombs7598 I find that time does decay the hurt in my life, like if the wrong was big up to 2 years to be forgotten and I don't usually ask God to help me out. As for sin, it does not go away from the body by just growing up and some of the people in the church will stop sinning when they go to the grave. The Creative Force of God or Holy Spirit is great at decaying sins and helping remove weakness in the personality such a anger, short temper, gossip and only if you practice righteousness in Spirit.
Your spiritual journey is just beginning. Being a human bieng on planet earth is like being in nursery school spiritually. I'm mean look at us all groping around in ignorance. Your spiritual journey will end when you arrive where you originally started from. You started out as God before anything was created there was only the creator. So everything and every being in existence was the creator in their original form. So this is the system God built and we are merely along for the ride on the amusement park ride/Rollercoaster that God built for himself to enjoy and share the experience with all his Infinite children which are only mini versions of himself. So what I am saying is relax enjoy the ride I only gets better from here. Once our rooms are clean all the dirty laundry is off the floor. Then we are done the journey and rest for eternity in our perfect original state which is none other than the God that everyone prays to. Hope that helps. Also you are correct the whole Jesus cult doesn't see the whole picture and doesn't really have a proper concept on how gods creation actually works. See you at the end of the road😉
