How to Make a Scotch Egg (and Why You Should)

- What is a scotch egg? Probably one of the best inventions known to the foodie world! An egg wrapped in meat and deep fried.
I have just started this channel to get us all questioning WHY?! Why do we do something in the kitchen, why does it work, why doesnt it work?
I always think it's good to be inquisitive and question stuff and think where a recipe can go.. I am not brilliant with recipes as I always get carried away and want to adapt something to work with what I have.
The recipe... (sort of)
Ingredients - Makes 3
3 eggs
500g Pork Mince
2 tbsp Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Curry powder
1 bunch manky basil
Salt to taste
Liquid smoke to taste
Black pepper
For Pane
Flour
Egg
Breadcrumbs
Method
1 - Soft boil your eggs in boiling water for 6 1/2 minutes then plunge into ice cold water.
2 - Season the pork mince with your herbs and spices, fry off a little and adjust seasoning..
3 - Peel the egg and wrap in the pork mince then pane in flour then egg then breadcrumb.
4 - Deep fry @170c for 8-10 minutes until golden brown, finish in the oven/air fryer for 5-10 minutes or until meat temp is over 75c.
For the air fryer method cook for 15 minutes @180c
