Didn't have a car in high school but shortly there after for college commuting. First ca was a 1993 Dodge Shadow in white with a gray interior. 2.2 liter 4 cyl with a 5 speed manual, whopping 93 horsepower. Ran like a champ, never left me stranded but had all the acceleration of a 3 legged camel.
In high school (1998) my first ride was a 1986 Toyota 4x2 pickup that I shared with my dad. It was vanilla colored, had 160k miles on it, a cassette player with the volume knob missing, and boombox speakers behind the seat for sweet bass. I loved the reliability of the little pickup so much that in 1999 I bought the first truck of my own and it was a 1996 Tacoma 4x2. It came with radio only head unit, 5 speed, power nothing, and 80K miles on it. I had the Tacoma until I was 24, traded it for a 98 4 runner, crashed the 4 runner a few years later and then bought the 96 Tacoma again for 1100$ and owned it for 7 more years and it had 165k miles when it finally gave up the ghost.
God thinks these dudes are very privileged and might put some effort into helping people who are in dire straits. God wouldn't mind only for the fact these dudes are very preachy and smug. It pisses God off, he told me so.
My first car was a '78 Honda Civic that never got plated. I just drove it around the farm. $300 farm scrambler. It was 1990 I believe. I don't remember if I even had my license by then. BUT! My second car was a1964 Ford Galaxy sedan. Sea foam green with Ford rally wheels, raised white letter tires, dual exhaust, a Ford 390 engine that purred like a baby kitten, and a factory Ford air conditioner unit that attached under the dash. That car was freaking AWESOME and I wish I hadn't gotten it when I did. Because I was a kid, and I tore it up. Picked it up for $1000 at a dealership. Couldn't figure out why it was so cheap till after we bought it. The car had a full box frame and one side was rusted all the way thru. Thought we were going to have to get rid of it until we found a shop that simply welded 3 steel plates to the good metal on the frame. Problem temporarily solved, right? I'd give just about anything to have that car back again. Or to find it for sale today. I'm middle aged now and I'd baby that thing to death.
Man all of this wonderful content!!!!! I just don’t know what to do with my self! Every time I get a notification from you I just drop what I’m doing and watch it. Crazy spontaneous and it’s awesome, can’t wait to see a ride on the homemade T-Rex
First car. A 1969 Corvair convertible. Fun car! The list is never ending after that. 1964 Mercury Comet, 1968 Pontiac LeMans, 1969 Mustang, 1970 Plymouth Fury, etc...
Your auction videos are my favorite. I would love to see the actual bidding and sale. I would really love to go to an auction with you guys, looks like it would be a blast and as a bonus I would probably learn a lot. I bought my first car at an auction. It was a 1984 Ford Mustang, 4 speed, 4 cylinder!😳. It was a crappy, tan color. I bought it for 600. I didn't know how to drive a manual, but I figured it out on the way home!🤣🤣🤣
First car was a 70 Dodge Polara with a 383. If I remember correctly. It has been a couple years ago (1976). It was a tank. I drove over a speaker pole at the drive in. Didn't hurt the car. Only got a little paint on the bottom.
I'm so glad you bought the firetruck! My first vehicle was a 73 Chevy K10 short bed, looked just like the light blue Scottsdale that you looked at, except mine was desert tan primer. I bought it when I was 14 in 1994, and sold it around '00 when I bought a LS1 F-Body. I kick myself everyday for that.
First car was an '87 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo handed down from my dad. Such a fun car. Digital dash that sometimes worked properly, interior that was maroon leather to match the exterior and (as I recall) a 3.6 liter V6. Terrible in the snow, which was a good learning experience growing up in Colorado, but I managed to survive. Sadly she broke down fairly frequently and it stopped being worth repairing as a teenager, but if I could have any car back from my past it would without a doubt be that Oldsmobile. My girlfriend back then had a gold Taurus SHO (a '90s model I think, but I can't recall exactly) which was an absolute hoot to drive. The clutch weighed approximately as much as a small planet, but man that thing could throw down.
You guys have way better auctions than we do. Those chevy pickups alone would have netted half the city showing up let alone the elco or that brush truck
Father, do we really need that? Son, that's the wrong question... it's not if we need it, it's what can we do with it. Priceless! We think we are so much smarter today than they were 50 years ago... then how come back then the manual showed you how to adjust the valves while today's manuals advise you to not drink the contents of the battery.
Damn those straps really are the best around. Holy shit that was cool to see lol sucks about the guys trailer but you know can say tank straps will survive a trailer flip😂
That CVO is beautiful! I had an Electra Glide Ultra but no where near the shine as that CVO. I have a Fat Bob now but I'm disabled, it's in the rears for registration and I haven't fired it up in three years. Such is life.

That brush fire truck is bad ass. The one we had our local vfw for years was a square body Chevy with a full exoskeleton. Thing was a brute. It was given to the department and pretty much sat at the station for 30 years without moving. Had only a few thousand miles when it was sold

The first street bike I owned was a 1982 Yamaha Vision with 900 miles on it that I bought for $500 from a guy who was scared of it. Much more sedate than the H1, but a solid first bike.
In 1987 ,I had a 1976 trans am, 400 , 350 automatic, firethorn. I have the original motor/ transmission . Its been replaced with 1974 455 SD, and a TH 400. Its still a blast to drive.
