Join us in person for a Sunday service at 9:30amET at Grace Community Church located at Grace Farms (365 Lukes Wood Road New Canaan CT, 06840).
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. you're right colin, we're very lucky to live in a time where we have access to an incredible amount of knowledge about the Bible and of knowledge in general, i use my android phone everyday to find out all kinds of stuff, there is more information in a single cell phone via the internet than there is in a public library, and we can find stuff out in an instance, and research it and learn more about the world we live in. Christianity is one of hundreds of different religions that people believe in.

I’m thinking of writing a book “How to convert Atheists to Religion - A beginners Guide” and wondered if you had any advice? Remember people, this is about winning hearts and minds! This is what I’ve got so far:
Chapter 1: How to mock science for the absurdity of claiming the universe a) has a beginning and/or b) has no beginning (is infinite), whilst proclaiming the obvious truth of an infinite God, with no sense of irony.
Chapter 2: How to mock the legitimacy of science, using selective pseudo-scientific ideas, whilst proving God through the scientific principles established in any given holy book of choice.
Chapter 3: How to mock science for having scientists with contradictory views, whilst explaining there is only one version of God (albeit it with thousands of different interpretations and contradictions).
Chapter 4: How to mock atheists for having no concept of good and evil because they have to decide for themselves, whilst theists fully understand good and evil, because it’s whatever their God tells them (otherwise known as the ‘suicide bomber justification’).
Chapter 5: How to mock atheists/scientists for not being certain about things, which is clearly a far inferior position to hold than the absolute certainty of truth that we hold as theists.
Chapter 6: How to mock atheists/scientists for believing in evolution, because everyone knows that the world is only 6500 years old and you can’t possibly grow a man from a fish.

Chapter 10: How to mock atheists for believing that sometimes there is no 'justice' or 'fairness', because we all know that God is an accountant at heart who likes to make sure all the checks and balances tally, whilst ignoring the fact that the infinite punishment of hell for finite crimes on earth, such as loving the wrong person, is as out of proportion as killing someone and all their loved ones because they put something in the wrong recycling bin.

I think it's a fair assessment to say if Cliffe, or I or anyone else happened to be born into a completely different culture/religion/continent/time thousands of years ago, we would almost certainly buy into that particular culture/religion because we would have little knowledge of other cultures and religions. We would almost certainly be unaware of different cultures and religions on the other side of the world. eg: what would a believer in the Aztec culture know about the beliefs of someone in China?

First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.

The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. For the student saying he won't study 1/10 the amount as Cliffe, and has to trust in historians for what's true or not, he is saying, "Cliffe, I don't want Eternal Life. I don't want to verify if what you're saying is true or not. Therefore, I won't put in the work."
If Cliffe said he had a treasure map and was going to show where buried treasure was, and the map had an X, and it genuinely looked like an authentic map, that student, I almost guarantee it, isn't going to say, "Cliffe, I'm not going to work as hard as you are to find the treasure. I don't want a lifetime amount of treasure. I'm good as I am."
Something will drive him to perhaps even work harder than Cliffe to find that treasure.
Jesus is a treasure, not a history lesson or a moral lesson. Sure, there are history lessons and moral lessons in the Bible, just as in finding buried treasure, there are history lessons.
The Bible says, "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened" Luke 11:9-10.
Cliffe, studying more than 10x that student is finding the treasure. The student who's too skeptical to even look into the truths of the Bible and of Jesus is missing out. Not because he can't, but because he won't.

We must all come as little children! Education simply makes it easier to connect with all people, whatever level of knowledge they may have. All who enter the kingdom of GOD, have humbled themselves, emptied their own sense of righteousness, and received the perfect righteousness of GOD! GOD is perfect in love, mercy, grace, and JUSTICE; we are not, but submitting our will to the will of THE FATHER, requires humble submission, just as a child has for the parent they fear, and they love. Jesus paid it all, paid the debt we owe, and indeed, it was a sacrifice, for HE himself was NOT guilty, but a perfect GOD must exact justice!! That’s what was done on the cross…once, and for all. One sacrifice, for all humanity, for all time, past, present, and future! A free gift, but one that must be received with humility.

On the question about doing right things and doing what Jesus said (I guess apart from His teachings on repentance), yes, believing in Jesus and trusting His sacrifice on the cross is far more important than doing right.
If you do good but don't trust in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as the payment for your sins, you're paying your own way, and Romans 6:23 says that that payment is death.
So, doing good on your own apart from God's sacrifice and resurrection on our behalf means that you're trusting in yourself to be able to get right with God, but Jesus said in John 14:6 that we can't come to the Father except through Christ.
Salvation leads you to do right, but doing right doesn't lead you to salvation.

Well, I have watched quite a number of videos with Cliff and these guys do a good job of pushing Cliff to double-down on his circular logic and ultimately shedding light on the inherent problems with new wave Christians trying to use “evidence” as proof of “faith”. No matter how Cliff (and many others like him) tries to present things, it all falls back on faith. I actually find it a bit disturbing that “Christianity” has been trying to use evidence to defend and prove itself. The end result is always a “who’s on first” circular reasoning.
