Just went there today with my wife. Used Eatigo. Beautiful view of the skyline. We ordered some food - was good but small portions. Took the Anatara boat back to Sathorn Pier which is a nice trip if you want to enjoy a trip on the water.

My favorite is the "Speakeasy" on top of the Muse hotel located in Soi Langsuan. The atmosphere is luxurious and I like to dress accordingly. I can also recommend the Octave Rooftop on top of the Marriot/Thonglor and the Vertigo and Moonbar on top of the Banyan Tree Hotel/Silom Road. Bangkok have many nice skybars and I look forward to your recommendations Jeroen.

The ++ never fails to piss me off, why can't they just tell you the price, I don't want to have to test my mental arithmetic skills after a few gin and tonics.
@@globaltravelmate They don't do it in the vast majority of Thai restaurants or bars. Also, imagine going to 7-11 and they hit you with the ++ once you've calculated your shopping basket. Apart from that, I always enjoy your posts, and I'll be checking into Avani very soon and also enjoying a few cocktails in Seen. Keep up the good work.
Bangkok also has many affordable rooftop bars. The view and atmosphere is very beautiful, especially many bars located in the old town.

That green area visible from the pool area must be valuable - I went there to watch the Anantara Elephant Polo one year ( which is no longer held )
