Hi Yiannis . I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for sharing your testimony on TH-cam. Your video truly inspired and motivated me. Hearing about your experiences and insights has given me a new perspective and a boost of energy to keep pushing forward in my own journey. Please keep doing what you’re doing-your content is making a real impact! Wishing you all the success in the world. Warm regards…
Thank you Yiannis for this wonderful piece of content... And when you said on the 27th minute, I'm not sure if people are even watching at this pt, but I'm doing it for people who really will be helped... I subscribed you there bro 🍻
@@yiannisgdem I'm starting out... We're 2 people... Me and my tech guy... We're thinking of building automations to test first on clients for success and then sell them on money... This means, in hormozis language, we'll be selling a stupid to say no offer.... Which could be 3 months of phase 1 testing on XYZ decided outcome for the company.... If that works out, we'll start phase 2 paid... We'll do this for 2-4 companies in the nov dec jan.... What do you think? Cuz this isn't the way you've done it... I'd love your feedback
@ That can definitely work. The only problem I have with “free” stuff is that the other person has no commitment. They just won’t care enough. But that can be a good way to get a couple testimonials🙂
This was a valuable video - thanks. I work in a Sales engineering/customer success position and do a lot of the things a business owner would do. I am about to take the plunge into the AI Agency and this has allowed me to understand to focus on the 'customer acquisition' part first and the rest I can do when I get the customers.
Great video Yiannis. a question I can't seem to get an answer to but how do you handle subscription services tools used in the automation processes for the clients? Do they take over and cover those costs additionally or is it "billed" in your fees monthly?
There are different ways you can set it up. Personally, I have my clients pay their usage costs. I also have them sign up under affiliate accounts so I get a kick-back from that.
I tried both, each has pros and cons. Usually I build the automation and then I transfer it to their account. Which I have them set up during the onboarding.
@@yiannisgdem thanks, i try to transfer automations to their account so they can pay for it themselves and upgrade flows with other contractors. And I dont have to mess with monthly payments. I think those recurring payments are not the way to get rich
I worked for a SW company that was marketing led and had unethical sales people that sold dreams that the SW couldn't do. I was very upset when I went to deliver the SW and they asked me where all the stuff was and I had to tell them it doesn't do that. Not good. I learned from that never promise something you can't deliver.
Thanks. One question, you said that at the beginning you did not have technical knowledge (so you used subcontractors). How did you acquire knowledge later? Courses, youtube videos,... Which particular...
Good question. -Trial and error: I got on all the ai/automation platforms and I started building. I didn’t know much but trial and error taught me a lot. -Mentors: The majority of people are stupid. Not me. I knew I could by pass the waiting line by spending money to get access to concentrated information. I joined a bunch of skools and bought courses as well as 1-1 mentorship from the top people in the space
You dont need to know how to code, but you do need to be able to analyse and design solutions in order to create the proper prompts. So coding is kinda dead but software engineering is not, and being able to understand code is a valuable skill for the foreseeable future.
Yeah I agree with you. It’s not so much about knowing how to code as it is about understanding the core “philosophy” of how things work. But coding is still valuable.
Man I’ve sold a bunch of different automations to them. Some are simpler than others - but I sold a few AI voice agents, I’ve sold combinations of make.com systems, n8n agents etc. Maybe I can make a more detailed video sharing some of the automations i’ve sold successfully
Μπράβο το παιδί. Why did you shut down something that is making 40k though? I didn't get that. You could have kept both, you could have hired someone to run the other one for you while you dive into automation. Anyway, glad it's working out for you.
@@yiannisgdem Thanks for the response. As long as it's working out, it's great. Still, I would have felt like leaving money on the table, as the there is no 100% overlap between the two, but I know what you mean about focus. Something that I need to learn more about, if you know what I mean. 😓 Ο πατέρας μου είναι από την Ελλάδα. Εσύ;

99% of get rich quick youtube contents are all about clickbaits! Catchy tittle and 1-2 hours of BS! I rarely see people tell you about actual process - take xyz app or skills, do this do that etc! I had free time in the last few weeks and its so annoying when he talks about everything but actual process and tricks of business. Its not just him but 99% content creators on this field.
Very soon you will find hundreds of AI tools that do the whole AI agency automation job with just a few words and by providing your api's, its already started 😢 just say the scenario and AI will create the perfect automation.
I don’t think that’s sad. If they’re is anyone at all who should be happy this is happening is us - people in the AI automation agency space. Also, it doesn’t matter what tool comes out and when. What matters way more is do you have the sales skills or the business skills to make money from it.
You're unaware of how much unaware, common folks are 🌹 Trust me, it'll be an unfair advantage to us, plus we'll take 2-3 years to reach a pt where you should start thinking about the thought you're having now!
I think LLMs themselves will be able to do all the automation and connections in the next few years, so it's only a matter of time. In the meantime, there's money to be made. It'll be like copywriting jobs today l. ChatGPT can do all that for you, still there's people willing to pay a human to do that for them, but how long is that going to last?
Then it will be about connecting systems and after that systems of systems and so I think the skill of knowing how to utilize which tools to get which desired result is still going to be around for some time.

Nice one bro. Do you build your client automations on your own Make/N8N account or do you get them to create their own accounts and build on there?
good question

@@artemazing I see. It depends what kind of a business you want to run but recurring payments are certainly one way to get rich.

Exactly! The bolder the claim you make in your marketing the easier it is to sell but the harder to fulfil. The key is to strike the right balance.

How do you get them on a retainer? I mean how do you convince them that they need ongoing support?
Well. they do need on going support g. What if something breaks or needs an update? Or what if they want to change something?
