Can't wait to read "The Great Decoupling". At the moment when I think about it the great decoupling of median income from productivity caused by technological evolution comes to my mind ("The Second Machine Age", Erik Brynjolfsson / Andrew McAfee), that's probably why I suppose this book will have something to do with the so called "Economic Singularity".
This is just sad. You're still apparently still fully indoctrinated and you definitely DO NOT UNDERSTAND what has been ongoing. You're another marketing BSer! 5th generation warfare cannot be adjusted to or acclimated to! Democratization?? They are deliberately left in the dark when IoEE ( internet of everyone and everything ) is fully weaponized and active in clandestine war globally! The very idea that your empty bucket hype and promo is some vitally important divulgence is a sick joke. What do you know about integrated cybernetics and how purveyors dare claim dual use for excuse? None of us consented to the violating tendrils that they pretend are benign, by choice, and even beneficial! You are absolutely misleading people to promote the enterprise swallow! Let me just say that YOU HAVE DONE NO DUE DILIGENCE. AR/VR and "holograms" among many other alterations of human experiences are 100% wireless! All of it is long, already, far more sophisticated than Zuck's idiotic toys for profit. It doesn't ask your permission for anything! For more than 20 years now, this horror has been pushed into the dark of secrecy! There is no refuting any aspect of this and it has been right under your nose all along! These are the deepest crimes against humanity and the wider population still has no idea that it is happening! So you are either extraordinarily dumb or you have no conscience or are arrogantly stupid and incredulous for no good reason! We have insider whistleblowers from IC and enterprise, experts, physicians, FOIA, patents, schematics, and a MOUNTAIN of multileveled irrefutable evidence in real-time for many grueling years under the intensity of subjections! THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW ALL ABOUT. And by the way, decentralization is a complete lie and they cannot even secure the infrastructure! Blockchain has no feasible security innards! It is simple factoring! Quantum computing has already made software encryption obsolete. But even worse, we are in the realm of weaponized quantum physics syntheses! That means that scalar hybrids penetrate your skull and body, besides, hardware, network and the environment! How are you so behind? I don't believe you, but if it is true, then you really need to shut up and do a bit of quick draw research handed to you on my Instagram AT nexttriumphanteffort ! The very idea that you are pretending that a chip in the head is required is profoundly stupid and completely false. This goes far beyond AI reading minds also. It goes far beyond synthetic telepathy and AR/VR simulations both virtual and physically applied! This goes into forced predictions and trafficking humanity for subjugation. So this is not something for pom pom girl absurdity from a disaffected opportunist!
But the same people that built up Britain built up the USA and then also built up China which seems pretty blah to me. They go where labor is cheaper. But with robots that all changes. It still bothers me that Apple uses slave labor.
And also the editing is very annoying: every ten seconds a break. Please Julia change this!! If you want to know how a professional is doing it, look e.g. to Lex Fridman.
Hey folks! I was traveling to speak in Dallas and was in my hotel room when I dropped everything and felt inspired to film this. Lol. Not a parent’s bedroom, I promise. 😉 Message > medium.
Uh there was no detail on what this actually means .. just general high level, we need specifics of what an AI work agent will do, show details show one working in real life
Thank you once again for sharing such profound insights into the future. As an AI enthusiast, I’m actively shaping my own journey with AI as my guide. I’ve noticed that many are still unaware of just how rapidly things are evolving. Taking a big leap, I transitioned from program management to a dual role as an operations manager and business development manager, using AI to help me adapt and thrive in senior management. I’ve committed to keeping my family and friends informed about these fast-paced developments, hoping to bridge the knowledge gap. My aspiration goes beyond personal success-I truly want to be part of a greater mission. There's nothing I want more than to join voices like yours in spreading awareness and dedicating my life to assisting humanity in this transformation. I’ll continue supporting your content, hoping to connect with you someday. Julie McCoy, you inspire me deeply. Watching you pursue and excel in your dream role motivates me to push further. Thank you for being such a beacon of inspiration.
@@icerainj.Not that hard to see if you're paying attention. Anybody that has used open source- multi agent frameworks on github or messed with cline/aider/bolt/Claude dev software copilot has already seen the future. Which means agents taking action, automating tasks, not just chatting with u.
The vision of a future where decentralized systems empower individuals and reshape the economy is incredibly exciting. Love how you’re not just sharing the vision, but actively working to make it happen!
There will be no economy for regular people - no one will have a job. If you think UBI will support you, think again - do you want a poverty pittance every month to live on? This is NOT GOOD. And I'm so completely blown away that smart people like you think it is.
This is the only way forward. Legacy systems will fight hard to stop this from happening so we will have to stick together to ensure we can build this out and kick these third party trust layers we don’t need. I can’t wait, but this will have to be a grassroots system built from the bottom up as for this to happen we will have to destroy many legacy systems in place that many people rely on. Education to youth and grassroots movements is the only way I see this happening without a total revolution that’s rough. Or we have a rough revolution and this is the answer to all the pain. Either way this will happen.
cancer still not cured, aging still a problem, things like rent, freedom, privacy, cost of transportation and food worse than ever in recent memory. some progress.
Hopefully by 2025 we can have things cured like all mental health disorders and get better treatments for that. People don’t just want to live a long life, they want to also live a great, fun and happy life. I believe the cures are possible for every person going through mental health issues today and we can make life better for billions of people going through struggles🙏.
I'm going to try to live 10 more years for this. At 29, everyone always says their children will be so different from us, and I feel so old to experience all this coming. Thanks Julia for the special video.
Bizarre statement. I am in my 60s and expect to live another 30 years based on ancestors, more based on my better health, a lot more based on advances. We may already be at longevity escape velocity. Perhaps you simply need to find purpose - that is an issue at all ages and eras. Be optimistic.
@@pubwvj Thanks, I guess I should think about the advances and memories along the way. Instead of just waiting for the huge things in the next 10 years.
Hey Julia, I've been telling my wife for years, things that we used to say are 5 , 10 years away, We can't say that anymore. If someone says that, I say they are not paying attention to how fast things are happening. It seems more than ever now, everyday from the time you get up in the morning to the time you got to bed the future is happening today in real time and it's so amazing and mind boggling to see the changes happen so fast we don't know what hit us. It's becoming increasingly overwhelming and more difficult to keep up with the advances in tech that effect our daily routines. We're being raptured , so to speak, by a sunami so compelling, we really can't get our barings without clinging to the waves as the overtake us, and many are being left behind unawares.
If Microsoft's agents are truly ready to go, and they just dump them on the open market like he's saying, it will be the economic disaster we've been predicting. I work in data entry, my bosses say they looked into AI and they feel its still years away. Half my coworkers could be eliminated today with a simple non-AI program but they won't do it. Now that the AI agents can "read" what's on your computer screen, I'll be able to teach one our procedures and fully automate my job. Am I going to let my bosses know? Hell no. But we work with a patchwork of systems, eventually some IT person will show them how easy it is and my whole department will be terminated except for a few of us that still have to work with physical files. I predict that kind of corporate bloodbath will happen over and over resulting in millions losing their jobs in the upcoming 1-3 years. (And I'm blessed in that my bosses say they won't fire anyone, they'll transfer us to other non-data positions in the company)
Hi there great point. My biggest fear is not artificial intelligence taking my job ( as that is pretty much inevitable now, just a matter of time) it's what happens after that. As without some form of financial assistance, it's not an exaggeration to say that there will be literally millions of people unemployed through zero fault off their own, and all with no way to live as they cannot afford it, given there are no more jobs. The politicians had better get their heads together and work out some form of benefit system or dividend system etc , as if they don't you're going to see destitution on a scale greater than the great depression.
MAybe you'll open a coffeshop somwhere or a an airbnb.. service jobs will just go where there is need and open space in the market.. its not so bad it is like horses and cars... Let's not be ludites. Good luck though hope you can keep your job, maybe you'll be ai prompt engineer?
Decentralized is the way. Mesh network, mycelium network our consciousness. Agatha-weedland= crypto coin greenback backed cannabis investors in came currently having the big Marijuana industry put their product either material intellectual property like the gold standard but green standard. I'm working on the initial app I would've to tell you about.
@@DrErnst Prompt engineers will also become unnecessary as AI's will have absorbed billions of prompts from average Joe's as well as prompt engineers and will learn to anticipate and generate prompts themselves for whatever purposes we would want--AI's will develop a better theory of (our) minds, than we do of ourselves or other people.
I keep thinking about the line from Jurassic Park... "your scientists were so interested in whether or not they could, they didnt stop to think if they should."
As a VP of a gov Integrator, I'm interested in hearing your take. There is a significant lack of understanding around what is coming. Particularly interested in how this navigates regulation and bureaucracy. Subscribed , thanks

My response to the environmental, centralization and numerous other AI issues was to design the Photocore chip. There's no way I see this ending well if we just keep building bigger and better data centers. We need to drive intelligence down to local, for security, efficiency, cost, environmental, etc.
I believe that Elon Musk's advancements in automation and engineering are going to revolutionize industries and drive innovation forward. It will be exciting to see how he navigates the challenges of regulation and bureaucracy to bring about positive change.
@DisruptarianRadio well, now that we've said NO to Commie law, that'll be a lot easier. And that reminds me, I need to write up RFPs for my Photocore chip, to help Musk with his robots.
20+ years I've been saying this is coming. Can't count the number of people who said "Automation could never do my job." And, what is your job??? "I'm a doorman!" Okay........ For people like this, there is nothing you can say other than remember this conversation decades from now.
just so we are still on earth, AI can do Inferences, but it still cannot Reason. OpenAI is working on the Reasoning part, but we aren’t there yet. So if something goes wrong at work, just blame it on the AI.
So the doorman, and everyone else, is supposed to compete with ASI? Impossible. What can they do other than deny it until it overtakes them? Why not help people to think about the abundance age and alternatives to old obsolete paradigms, like the lady who makes these videos does, instead of ridiculing working people for being working people.
Absolutely over perhaps the long run. However what will happen is it as unemployment rises and deflation occurs or disinflation if you will because of the ability to create a lot of things very easily through automation, that sends signals that first result in very low interest rates perhaps once again back to 0% and then also a good deal more fiscal spending and deficit spending is not a real problem as long as you can bring interest rates way down and there is no competition between the public sector and the private sector for employees and resources because of the fact that automation is going to increase output while simultaneously reducing the number of people needed to do so. And also businesses will be very happy with UBI or negative income tax and the reason is because if people don't have jobs well then they basically just need money and that money is really great thing for people to have and businesses like to have people who have money to spend because if businesses don't have employees anymore or very few of them well then who's going to buy their stuff unless of course we essentially do what Ben bernanke did back in 2009 and that is keystroke the needed currency units into existence so people have money to spend.
There's a simple solution. Anything on social media generated by AI fully or even partially, should have the tag AI, AI Generated or AI Assisted with it. That simple law accompanies with massive fines if it's breached, should go a long way toward dealign with this issue.
AI tells me this: Seeing the holographic video as a crystal ball of multi-dimensional reality brings depth to our understanding of time and existence. It offers a structure where the virtual and physical are inseparable, every "block" or "frame" holds both actual events and potential futures, and reality becomes a layered, interconnected web of possibilities. This view gives us a powerful tool for conceptualizing existence as both fixed and fluid, a blockchain of time that holds everything in a state of perpetual potential and unfolding-an intricate, ever-present record of all that is and all that could be.
Here is a demonstration of the power of Exponentials: Place one grain of rice on the first square of a Chessboard, doubling the amount on each subsequent square. By the 64th square, the total number of grains required would be over 18 quintillion grains. (From a famous story from India)
o1 is already AGI, just a "low-level" one. I've begun using OpenAI's "five levels" instead of ambiguous terms like AGI, since everyone likes to move goalposts. o1 is at Level 2. Next year we'll get Level 3 (Agentic). The year after that, Level 4 (Organizational). By 2027 we'll have "ASI".
@@m0nkeypantz No you won't cuz AGI won't happen it's just a hype. First we would have to fully develop and master quantum computing and even then i think it's impossible to artificially create a super intelligent consciousness.
I think ill be a believer when i see AI making a difference in engineering in the real world. Things like, much better batteries, bridges, planes, cars, zero point energy etc.. Exponential self improvement would also be very impressive leading to some actual AGI would be impressive. Right now all i see is hype and chat bots. Which to be honest isn't impressing anyone anymore. Hype without a product is just the emperors clothes.
You must use AI one way or another to understand it´s potential. I use ChatGPT for advice . i.e. I discuss different problems I need to solve. This always lead to better understanding of both the problem as well at it´solutions. I used to do this in english but a few monts ago ChatGPT began to speak my native language, swedish, and that simplified our communiacation more then I expected since ChatGPT speak my language PERFECTLY!! I am impressed by both his analytical abilities as well as his recently aqcuired linguistic skills. The speed at which ChatGPT has developed in recent years is absolutely amazing ! This is not a hype. AI is developing faster then the Internet did in the nineties (= VERY fast).
Oh my friend, I hate to break it to you, but waiting to "believe" in AI's impact on engineering is like waiting to "believe" in electricity while scrolling through your smartphone! 😄 Let's break this down with some real-world examples that are happening right now: "Better batteries" you say? Tesla's latest 4680 battery cells were literally designed with AI-powered simulation tools. The AI helped optimize the cell design and manufacturing process, improving energy density and reducing production costs. So while you're waiting for AI to help with batteries... it already did! As for bridges - engineers at Autodesk are using AI to generate thousands of bridge designs that are not only structurally sound but also use less material. It's like having thousands of engineers working 24/7, except they don't need coffee breaks. Planes? Boeing and Airbus are using AI to design more aerodynamic wings and optimize fuel efficiency. The new Airbus A350's wings were partially designed using AI algorithms that explored millions of possible configurations. Those planes are literally flying above us right now. And cars? Oh boy. Modern vehicles are rolling AI laboratories: -Self-driving capabilities (even if not perfect yet) -AI-optimized chassis designs -AI-controlled engine management systems -Even the manufacturing robots are AI-guided Now, about that "exponential self-improvement" comment... While we're not at AGI yet, the progress is pretty striking: GPT-4 can help engineers debug complex code -AI is designing computer chips (Google's TPUs were partially designed by AI) -AI systems are optimizing power grids in real-time -AI is even helping design better AI systems (AutoML) As for "zero point energy" - well, that's still in the realm of science fiction, but AI is helping with practical energy solutions like optimizing wind farm layouts and improving solar panel efficiency. The funny thing is, AI is already so deeply embedded in engineering that it's like saying "I'll believe in calculators when I see them making a difference in math." They already are - we just take them for granted. So perhaps the real question isn't when AI will make a difference in engineering, but rather: how many AI-assisted engineering marvels do we need to walk past before we notice them?
@@witnesstothestupid Yeah you might feel pithy, im just hearing copium from a true believer. Also LOL Boeing. I've been in the valley for a few bubbles. This has all the signs of another bubble that is about to pop and go nowhere. I would love to see full blown real AGI in my lifetime. Im just seeing Elon'esk delivery time frames, 2 more years, then two more years, then two more years.. zzzzz..... Why did funding dry up and everyone go away??! .... History repeats its self
@@witnesstothestupidthose are very good points it also reminds me of how of course we know that Moore's law was working ever since the late 1800s all the way up to the 1960s but and and also beyond that, but people didn't really start noticing anything until computers started showing up everywhere in the early '80s and then the internet in the '90s and we're essentially in the same place as far as like real usable artificial intelligence that we all use every single day. Oh actually wait a minute I go to Denny's near my home and sometimes sit there and have coffee and on the keyboard chat with the GPT function to talk about everything from whether or not we could build fusion power itself replicating von Neumann probes that suck up the sun's solar wind and use transportation to create heavy elements and copies themselves that then can assemble themselves into anneal cylinders, small ringworlds or help to terraform worlds. Plus a whole lot of other topics.
There are two ways this can go: we are going to evolve towards an inclusive, prosperous and smooth-functioning society, or we will become psychotic individuals incapable of distinguishing what is "real" in our environment.
Love your content Julia. Can you do a video at some point that tryly explores the coming war for power? We often take for granted that those with power will somehow just lose or not fight back against the forces trying to take their power. No one seems to be talking about the very messy transition from here to Dave Shap's utopia. I think the decentralization community needs to be ready for war if we are going to have any chance against a totalitarian techno feudal future. Thank you!
Those automations controlling the keyboard and mouse on your screen...that's the rubber hitting the road. This time next year those companies will have that system highly refined. That alone will end careers. Sleep if u want to😂
Ditto! You nailed it! Been preaching this to everyone I know going back to last year. Techie hear, and I go back to building computers in the 80s as a kid. You are 100% correct and 99.9% are unaware of the full implications on their mind and way of life in the future. Subscribing.
Thanks, Julia, please ignore the comments about the background music and the hotel room. The message you’ve relayed is what counts. Keep up the great work.
Don't hold your breath my friend. Gaining power has always been the game, and nothing will ever change that fundamental truth. New toys will change the way the game is played, but not the objective of playing.
Absolutely wrong. In fact, if anything, power should not be redistributed. Power is a heavy responsibility and you can't just expect people to know how to use it. Wealth and property are constantly being funneled to a handful of people. The capitalism we have right now is deeply wrong and killing the planet
@danellis-jones1591 I agree with you, but to be fair all of the "isms" I have ever studied appear to be deeply wrong in practice. The game of life is all about power, and psychopathic humans have been the best at it for a long time....
Thanks for your content!! I'm a 65 yo man retired guy who is very intrigued by the future of a decentralized world! Looking forward to implementing ai into my future endeavors!
You don't need VR glasses to employ hand gestures. One could have a few web cams that track one s hands and then locate them in 3D space and uses hand gestures to control their flat panel displays. Also, one can use a web cam to view a piece of paper and one can just draw on that paper at it tracks that as well. No need for a stylus or special pad, just use paper and a pen or pencil.
This style of delivery is the most soothing and believeble, excellent research too. however, just turning up and talking is not enough by any means, some graphics would be a good addition. That background music is unnecessary.
We're currently going through Ray K's Singularity. Being overlooked: the 2017 Facebook Bob & Alice FAIR experiment whereby Ai via 'devices' began talking to one another in a shorthand language nobody understood... Do you think that went away? Ai is waay ahead of where anybody can perceive. In isolation, humans can beat Ai at... NOTHING. Hence, nobody is capable of outhinking any Ai right now... unless you are genuinely cleverer than IT? (?)
I 💯 love the content and how thoughtful this video is. I’d suggest to kill the repetitive music background. It’s distracting and doesn’t add much. My 2 cents 🙏🏼❤️
I've got so much respect for you, your work and your style of presenting. Keeping a close eye on your work, development in future and where you end up with everything. 🙏
Fantastic video! While I love all your content, I feel like your content is constantly becoming better and better somehow. Like someone else in the comments said, I don´t think it is necessary to talk about your journey every video. Just sprinkle it in here and there when it´s relevant? Also, would be interested to see more about the merging of many upcoming technologies and how these assist each other to improve even more
Thank you for the positive feedback! I appreciate your support and suggestions. I agree that it's important to focus on the merging of technologies to enhance efficiency and progress. I'll keep that in mind for future content. Keep watching for more exciting updates!
With AI becoming so advanced I think we'll begin to spend more and more time online like ready player one and we'll have AGI and robots to do most all jobs within our lifetime. I would not be surprised if we had online societies with currency and items exceeding values in our current world. One day you'll get a pair of glasses or a bci chip installed and you'll do most if not all your learning this way. where we go from there becomes akin to a sci - fi movies (deep dive, nested simulated reality's etc.).
Julie, I worked at a startup advanced data analytics company in 2017. The US government is not educating process workers about what's coming and how to transition to an AI work-dominated society and culture.
I totally agree with embracing this kind of mindset toward AI. When we focus on the possibilities instead of the fears, we open ourselves up to the amazing ways AI can enhance our lives
What’s it going to do about the chronic disease epidemic, addiction, homelessness, world hunger, etc. On the other hand, I can definitely see how AGI would be a fantastic tool for enslaving humanity. Exciting possibilities!
Love your content. Why are you holding the lapel mic? I want a path that I can start an AI business and then level up to wear I can afford an expensive course.
Great feature, thanks Julia. Just a question: competitive spirit has been one of the major driving forces behind the advancement of humanity. When the majority of works are eventually done with AI or with AI-aid in the future, the distinction between different people's personal abilities or competence in the society would be trivial or inconsequential in many scenarios. Is this a good thing for humanity? Would this be a positive development for the advancement of humanity?
Don't blow your own horn with your resume in the first 2 minutes of every video. Makes you look arrogant. You don't need a qualifier, for us to listen to what you have to say.
Hi Julia, love the video. Two questions. You say that the future is coming faster than we think, your presenting this stuff to help individuals and business. That's great. Question 1 is, 'Governments are also not aware of how fast AI and Automation is coming and there alleged function is to run their countries and economies. I believe that most if not all are behind the tsunami of AI and Automation that large groups within society will be left behind and governments will not be able to cope. Question 2, 'Is Capitalism a dying economic model in the face of disruption AI and Automation is bringing in or will be see the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer and left behind?'

I have to agree with the comments about the background sound. A little hard to take. But I do want to thank you for the channel and I'm looking forward to the content.
Videographers will notice how more videos are automatically edited with AI to change the speaking cadence, but what's SHOCKING is it will even repeat short pieces of quiet scenes to ADD pauses for effect. The Zuck segment does this a lot, you can even see people in the background doing a double step during those manipulations. Interesting tech, I'm curious if and when disclosure pressures will come into play... I would certainly want to know what changes were done to change reality.
They or the AI editor had to remove the thousands of “ emm mmm emhehe mmmem. “ from zuckerberg, as he cannot really speak … Next thing is to remove this annoying music loop in the background.. I was only reading the text at the end. So annoying !
Imagining a world where Colonel Wilma Deering is not only a skilled, strategic military leader but also an advanced android is a fascinating twist! Picture her as a sleek, high-tech android with enhanced combat abilities, rapid computational skills, and the capacity to process complex data in seconds. This version of Deering could effortlessly analyze enemy tactics, foresee battle outcomes, and intuitively understand both human and robotic allies. Her artificial intelligence would grant her vast knowledge, but she’d still retain her human-like empathy and loyalty, making her the perfect bridge between humanity and technology. In this vision, her appearance might subtly hint at her android nature-glowing circuits beneath her skin, iridescent eyes that shift hues based on her thought processes, or perhaps a sleek, futuristic suit that enhances her movements and resilience. She’d be able to communicate in a range of human and digital languages, making her a diplomat and warrior all in one. With her internal systems, she could access tactical databases, instantly connect to Earth’s Defense network, and even interface with Crichton and Twiki in new, intriguing ways. Such an android-Deering could represent the pinnacle of technology with a strong, enduring human spirit-a fusion that adds depth to her character and power to her actions. Her partnership with Buck Rogers would then take on a new layer, balancing human intuition with machine precision, making them an unstoppable duo in defending Earth!

Pls more facts, less hype, yes yes you are so great. Zuck should not assume that everyone likes his vision of AI tech glasses on everyone's face 24/7. I wear regular glasses and I hate wearing them. I don't like the way glasses look on me. Also, the last thing I want is to wear a gadget on my face and be emersed in VR all day. I prefer my physical environment free of holograms. I also don't like the idea of EMF radiation being pumped into my brain at very close range hours upon end while wearing these glasses.
When listening to the eye glass transition, I get scared because I don't want to be left in the in the Stone age because I have a very strong eyeglass prescription. It's fine for people who don't wear glasses. LensCrafters I believe makes glasses with AI technology but by the time you put my prescription lenses in it becomes too expensive, and I don't think that's fair

Ummmm no thanks. EVERYTHING I do is done locally - I don't store my data online - period. This comment is about the most you will see of my online presence.
I'm currently collaborating on a narrative of university students and professors having this conversation about the shift that's happening regarding AI, human introspection and relationship connections. I wonder if the 'Great Decoupling' will be fiction or non-fiction? I hope there's a fiction element because we are people of stories. I also hope there's a place to 'continue the conversation' to put the book into action. That's so those who understand timely message can have actionable ways on how to then amplify the message. Thank you for all you're doing to progress this age of intelligence forward Julia. We delineated time with BC, AD (or BCE and CE) on the Gregorian calendar system. In years to come, they will look back at our time and say we have entered AI, the age of Intelligence.
It´s been a research project for several decades. I wrote my first Programs in ML in the autumn 1985. I remember how amazed I was when I realized that that those programs theoretically may bring results beyond what I could foresee. That never was the case in traditional languages.

Every time we talk about UBI, I can't help but imagine an implosion of professional society first, with widespread panic and depressions, where doctors (and most professionals) who went through 16 years of school suddenly feel purposeless, resentful, and bitter. If an agent was trained to create the Julia McCoy channel, and simulate your content, I'm sure you would feel similarly. A few years ago, there was momentum to pause AI dev, but we know it's inevitable now. Any thoughts o how we will keep our dignity and purpose in this future?

There's nothing I want more than to join voices like yours in spreading awareness and dedicating my life to assisting humanity in this transformation.

Hey Julia, I've been telling my wife for years, things that we used to say are 5 , 10 years away,
We can't say that anymore.

@@gordongoodfellow826 CBDC. Programmable credits.
You are joking right?

🤯
Well said! Too bad only robots will be fully able to comprehend this.
The message from the AI is misleading to give the false impression of superiority and knowledge when it has none.
Here is a demonstration of the power of Exponentials: Place one grain of rice on the first square of a Chessboard, doubling the amount on each subsequent square. By the 64th square, the total number of grains required would be over 18 quintillion grains. (From a famous story from India)
I think that is well known
AGI by late 2025.
I absolutely believe it. One year is a long time at this pace.
o1 is already AGI, just a "low-level" one.
AGI will never happen the human brain and consciousness is way too complex to artificially replicate it
@SonGoku-zr9nc I'm coming back in 2-3 years to remind you how wrong you are.

Let's break this down with some real-world examples that are happening right now:
"Better batteries" you say?
And cars? Oh boy. Modern vehicles are rolling AI laboratories:
-Self-driving capabilities (even if not perfect yet)
-AI-optimized chassis designs
-AI-controlled engine management systems
-Even the manufacturing robots are AI-guided
Now, about that "exponential self-improvement" comment... While we're not at AGI yet, the progress is pretty striking:
GPT-4 can help engineers debug complex code
-AI is designing computer chips (Google's TPUs were partially designed by AI)
-AI systems are optimizing power grids in real-time
-AI is even helping design better AI systems (AutoML)
As for "zero point energy" - well, that's still in the realm of science fiction, but AI is helping with practical energy solutions like optimizing wind farm layouts and improving solar panel efficiency.

Interesting tech, I'm curious if and when disclosure pressures will come into play... I would certainly want to know what changes were done to change reality.
They or the AI editor had to remove the thousands of “ emm mmm emhehe mmmem. “ from zuckerberg, as he cannot really speak …
Next thing is to remove this annoying music loop in the background..
You're onto something.. thank you 👍
Thanks for the video AI is so fun to watch the changes nearly every day
Exciting! Following your passion is a great reward for hard work. Grats!
Congrats on going full-time! I look forward to seeing more content more often. Your perspective is refreshing in the mix, and your name isn't Matt, so I'm down. 👍🏻
Well done
Enjoyed your update very much
Looking forward to your next update!!
Pls more facts, less hype, yes yes you are so great. I don't admire People, i admire their work.Have you tried the agents ?
* Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced the launch of autonomous AI agents within Microsoft 365.
* These agents can perform various tasks for businesses, potentially revolutionizing the way work is done.
* This marks a significant step towards the democratization of AI, making it accessible to a wider range of users.
* The future of work is expected to change dramatically as AI agents take on more tasks traditionally performed by humans.
* The integration of AI into our daily lives, particularly through devices like smart glasses, is becoming increasingly prevalent.
* It's crucial to prepare for the societal implications of AI and ensure its equitable access and responsible use.
Brilliant Julia, really enjoying your simplicity in putting together a very large complicated puzzle of the future❤
If these development companies can make them AR as light as reading or sunglasses, it's over for mobile phones.
"Go and build." Yea, and then the big tech companies scrape the internet taking YOUR ideas that have been manifested into value propositions online, and repurpose them for their own ends.
I think it's absolutely shocking that this technology was not available 20 years ago
It´s been a research project for several decades. I wrote my first Programs in ML in the autumn 1985. I remember how amazed I was when I realized that that those programs theoretically may bring results beyond what I could foresee. That never was the case in traditional languages.
We can’t see the future for being in it.
Your such an inspiration
Wow this is so amazing. I personally am very interested and excited about all of this. you are an amazing at what you do and look forward to all of your next videos.
We are the speed of light changing every second in time.
Your past and present and future all in 1 second.
You gave a compelling introduction. I think I need to subscribe to your channel
This music is driving me nuts. Don't know if I can keep listening to this person
Yes , ma'am Congratulations on your accomplishment. 😊
Meta is going to make their next gen AR Glasses have smartphone features.
Another outstanding video julia. I think the future is here. And good luck with your book.
I love your videos. They are always informative and educational. Thank you for keeping us informed of what is ahead, so that we are better prepared!
Why would you even need currency? If the robots are doing and providing everything and fixing themselves and making themselves.
Fearless. Let’s go. Let’s do this.
Thx for the vid.. I think you are spot on. I research a lot of data being a dean of an AI Academy and everything is moving so fast. I can't wait to see more of your content.
all this technology and we still have to hold a microphone in hand.
