Is this a AWD Escalade or just rwd love how it sits I want to lower mine too I just heard I can only do the drop spindles because mines AWD and they say that's as low as you can go without messing up the front drive suspension
I didn't hear u mention removing bump stops, or relocating sway bars. I have an 2011 escalade at stock height, I can't stand it..... Any parts list? Or company u like to use, beltech etc? Looks clean, I 👍 like.
I like belltech and djm parts. Trekline is making some good cheaper parts too. I had to do the free travel mod (cutting bump stop bracket) and relocate the sway bar links. Say, I absolutely love the drop.....it's perfect. Question: I Wana go low but I don't wanna do the bump stop cutting mod.... Do u know what those lmits/parameters are? I have 2013, awd.
Good deal! Glad she's getting you fixed up. 4 would be the max. With some good shocks or even Helper bags in the rear you won't have anything to worry about!
I'm on oem size tires, if I hit a dip or bump with some speed occasionally it will rub slightly up front. Very minimal. I'd like to step back to a 275/40/22 and it would be perfect.
Now i have oem escalade springs that I trimmed to get 5" drop. I had 4" drop coils in this video but they were too soft and bouncy. The cut coils still ride like stock in the rear.
I have the same exact truck as you and about to do a drop with 753 belltech kit. How much do you measure from the ground to the fender in the front and back. I'm thinking about going 285/35/24 with a 3 1/2 front and 5 inches back with TBSS springs with no coils.
Just seeing this man. 285/35/24 should be good. I ended up lowering the rear to 5" and putting 305/35/24s on and they fit without rubbing but not much room left.
It is where you have to cut off the factory bumpstop bracket, so the rear end doesnt bottom out from being lowered four or more inches. But it could also be something else, it really depends on what parts you have too. Check out the video "Free Travel Mod (Ultimate How To)" on TWA Motorsports channel.
@@dadllac they gave me 2" spindles n 4" drop springs on the back..I guess I have to get some drop struts. Everything it's factory in the front except the spindles..but the air suspension it's on and I think it pushes my a Lil higher in the front with the airbags

This one was 2wd. Plenty of guys this low on awd models though.
@dadllac oh ok Kool thanks for the info going to look into it 👍👍
Man that’s a nice ride
Where did you get your painted door handles at ?
I bought some smooth handles on ebay and had them colormatched along with the vents, hood trim and license applique.

Simple and clean. Beautiful daily
I appreciate it man!
🔥🔥🔥
Ever get stabilitrak and traction controls light no engine light but if you put the scanner it shows a p0011 code

I have 2013, awd.
Thanks man! I wouldn't go lower than 3" in the rear without doing the free travel mod. 2/3 would give you a nice level stance.
@Dakota Sehon ur friend at the website is putting together a drop for me. She recommended 2/4........not messing with free travel mod.
Good deal! Glad she's getting you fixed up. 4 would be the max. With some good shocks or even Helper bags in the rear you won't have anything to worry about!
Mr.oklahoma9288: Did u ever drop your ride brother i wanna do my awd as well
@chatobalencian1504 yeah, the 1st lowered in town.
I've seen 2 others lowered since. Hahah.
Hey man I have some Amazon front springs you think those will work with a lowering kit?
They likely would work if they are designed for one of these bodystyles. Now how they will ride might be a different story.
Does the front bottom out sometimes. I’m wanting mine to sit like yours

What wheels are those and tire size?
Those were oem cv73s on 275/40/22s
Does it tow good still?! Did the ride quality diminish any?!
I dont pull much with it but it does still tow well with a decent size trailer and load on it.

Looks good bro
Do u know if they had to cut the bumps stops ????
Yes I had to cut the rear bumpstop bracket off
Did u install yourself ?
All installed by myself and a buddy at work on a lift.
question does the read hit hard i did a full beltech kit with 4" ft and read and the rear hit hard on minor potholes just curious
Did you do the free travel mod?
@@EmmAyeVee not sure what that is a had a shop do it

How u drop it so much from the front..I got a 2/4 but don't looks drop ,only the back looks slammed...u know any truck if I can get a 3" instead of 2
What setup are you running in the front? I'm running 2" spindles and drop struts set at 1.5" .
@@dadllac they gave me 2" spindles n 4" drop springs on the back..I guess I have to get some drop struts. Everything it's factory in the front except the spindles..but the air suspension it's on and I think it pushes my a Lil higher in the front with the airbags
Yea get you some belltech drop struts. You won't be disappointed. Great product
You can mount your front struts under your a arm instead of top and get 2 more inches lower in the front
RWD or AWD?
Rwd
does it bounce alot?
Not at all. Actually rides really smooth
