Only the Ukrainians are experts on the war they face. They will have a great deal to teach western military. Western military recent doctrine is all about overwhelming resources. Ukraine has had to fight with limited resources and with one hand tied behind their back. Their nation and soldiers are truly resourceful and courageous. My understanding of the history of the western republics of Russia (should really be referred to as Moscovia) is that the local residents went from being the slaves of The Golden Horde to the vassals of tsars/emperors and then the soviet rulers. It seems that to this day the majority of their population have an inborn reluctance to resist authority and no desire for freedom from oppression.
7:50 Russia doesn't seem concerned about escalation at all; they will use Iranian and North Korean weapons whenever and where ever. They WANT the Ukrainian state to fail, and the US is concerned that the Russian state might dissolve!
How much of Russias territory do the ukrainians control, at least for a few days and weeks? Maybe 0.0001%. Russia controls 20% and more of Ukraine since years now.
