- “A mass assassination factory” was the headline of the investigation by +972 magazine and Local Call that unveiled the use of an artificial intelligence (AI) based targeting system by Israel.
The system, called Habsora, or the Gospel in English, uses advanced technology to get targeting recommendations faster than a team of human beings.
But, are technological advances making war deadlier? What kind of information goes into an AI-based military targeting system like the one Israel uses?
On UpFront, software engineer and member of the Stop Killer Robots coalition, Laura Nolan, talks to Marc Lamont Hill about using AI systems in warfare.

The Average person might think it's all complicated and advanced....But it's not. It's the "Shabath Elevator" of War crimes. It's a "Plausible Deniability" smoke screen. A certain country thinks that if they give something a different name and a confabulated description, it doesn't make them exactly what they are. For example: The Dahia Doctrine can be described by one word and it starts with a "T" and ends with an "ism".

AI is not but can be programmed to not be used for world peace. SLSO, AI NEEDS MEMORY We need all of the people of the world to be focusing on using artificial intelligence to generate world peace we need to think globally act locally we need to improve our communities. We need more community centers built around the world. FDR style building projects plus tons of community centers for fun activities. We need to focus on sports and education and fun and bettering peoples lives working class peoples lives. The poor peoples lives. The professional managerial class needs to use their intelligence and devote some of their time towards improving the world and creating world peace so many brilliant people do not create brilliant social media content because they’re afraid of losing their job we need more and more people to create social media content to improve the world. If that means talking about your job to improve the world, we could do that if it means using artificial intelligence to write new laws and legislation, we need to do that if it means getting rank choice voting in America, and in democracies around the world we need to do RCV America needs to be setting the best possible example of how to run a country for the rest of the world America needs to make up for America’s mistakes by improving education worldwide the easiest way to do that is with video education we need to meet the basic needs of every person on earth We need to treat people of earth as citizens just as citizens in America are treated we cannot have people just immigrating to America constantly because America is so great America has to contribute to the greater good of the world. We’ve got to figure out how to do it and somethings are free and we need to focus on doing a lot of free things, without trying to monetize everything we need people volunteering consistently to improve governance worldwide. We need better programs in place to support the people of the world. The cost of goods needs to be low low and lowered. The money in circulation needs to increase people want to exchange more money they want more goods and services in their lives. Technologies exist beyond our comprehension And cultures from of the worlds we need to befriend them need to create world peace and we need to improve our planet and get better technologies improving the lives of everyone on earth. I had this conversation with a close friend years ago. She was a peace activist and supported the move to drones. I am a liberal but more centered. We both supported and still support a Palestinian state. She thought advancements like drones would lessen the number the deaths of noncombatants. I strongly disagreed at the time and I still disagree.
Radicalization will always lead to huge human consequences and tech allows the radicalization to become actionable on a wider scale.
