- What Was the Faith of the Early Church, the Greatest Faith in Christianity, Based on?
God established the Passover by shedding His blood on the cross for the salvation of mankind. The early Church members went through great persecution, becoming food for lions and human candlesticks because they kept the Passover, the truth of life. After the Apostolic Age, the Passover was abolished in AD 325 according to the insistence of the Western Church through various Paschal Controversies.
The Church of God Inherits the Faith of the Early Church That Has the Meaning of Ephesus [Desirable].
Today, the Church of God keeps the Passover holy just as the early Church did, unlike other churches in the world. It is because the Church of God firmly believes that the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, who came for our salvation, are the truth of life that saves mankind from disasters.
Eusebius’ Ecclesiastical History, Chap. 24, pp. 208-209
“We,” said he, “therefore, observe the genuine day; neither adding thereto nor taking therefrom. . . . All these observed the fourteenth day of the Passover according to the gospel, deviating in no respect, but following the rule of faith. Moreover, I, Polycrates, who am the least of all of you, according to the tradition of my relatives, some of whom I have followed.

God established the New Covenant Passover to lead us to heaven, where there is no death and pain. Through Passover, we can gain eternal life, receive forgiveness of sins, and enter heaven. Also, those who keep the Passover can receive God's protection even from many disasters. So, Jesus wanted to keep this Passover before suffering. Just as the saints of the early church risked death to keep the Passover, which contains God's blessings, despite countless persecutions, we must also have the same faith as the saints of the early church. I am grateful to Heavenly Father Ahn Sang-hong and Heavenly Mother for allowing us the Passover of the New Covenant, the seal of God, so that we can be protected from numerous disasters and go to heaven safely.

The apostles in the Early Church didn’t avoid tribulations and persecutions but stood them by keeping God’s commands, the New Covenant, with firm faith to the point of death. The members of the Early Church regarded the New Covenant Passover more precious than their life. We, who are living in this last age of the Holy Spirit, also must not try to avoid momentary tribulations but to keep the New Covenant which was established by Christ.
We should have the faith of the Early Church, since it is perfect. So, we should keep the New Covenant, including the Passover, just as the Early Church did.

In the early church, the Apostle set an example according to the teachings of Jesus. The New Covenant Passover kept by the early church is God's truth that gives sinners forgiveness of sins and the blessings of eternal life.
If we keep the New Covenant Passover, we will receive forgiveness of our sins and the blessings of eternal life 😊
The faith of the early church was the Passover faith taught by Jesus. Likewise, the Church of God has been adhering to the Passover taught by Jesus 2,000 years ago.
