I leave Arctic fox in for at LEAST 6 hours. More vibrant when you do. My daughter had black hair and it turned it to the the brightest most vibrant burgundy I've ever seen.. I didn't think it would even show up lol

omg i loved that u do test on different colored hairs because i been tryna get rid of my green hair to a nice brown red and simply couldn’t and this vid was quite close to the color i wanted so now i can get rid of my green hair thank you ❤❤

Awesome video! I have naturally level 7-8 mousey brown hair but I dye it bright wine red/burgundy and it's suuuuch a pain having to use a deeper brown dye just on my roots before going back with an all over red since my roots never grab the red. I'm gonna try using ritual on my roots and then melt it out into my normal red! Hope it works :))
Edit: so it doesn't work as well as I had hoped. My roots are just slightly too dark of a blonde for it to take as well as the rest of my previously bleached ends. But it does give them a tint of red

She said she usually leaves the dye in for like an hour, but I’ve seen people say they leave it in for 6-10 and get really vibrant results. Maybe it’s something to do with that

Kind of, but once it fades you can tell it has a pink tone to it.

Almost all conditioners are sulfate free, so that ones label is just a marketing scheme. Sulfates are surfactants and what make soap and shampoo bubble. It helps get dirt and oils off by sticking to those things so they easily wash down the drain. Your conditioner would bubble and foam if it had sulfates.

So I love fun colors but my new job won't let me do my blues and purples. I saw ritual and was hoping for a brownish/redish/purple kind of look (still a little fun but not too crazy being I'm around a more conservative crowd). Thank you so much for your video, it helped SOOO much!

I heard that arctic fox is coming out with a unreleased shade,if you have Instagram you can enter to win the shade.
Me, too. I have tried a lot of AF colors and they wash out pretty well after 10 or so washes. But this is very dark. Scary. It is on my list to do before I go to the beach so the ocean and pool will help with the quick fade. I bet it turns more of a dark berry, rather than burgundy on white hair.

Ok so i was hoping to go a more natural ginger color and ended up bright orange i have a video on my channel explaining further what it looks like now and what im trying to get on my screen the red looks orange and a lil closer to what im trying to do can you do orange swatches to show what colors to help neutralize it to get it to more natural looking shades

Quick question. I dyed my hair with Manic Panic Enchanted Forest and it's a dark teal. I'm loving it so far, but I know it's going to fade to green eventually. Will using Ritual, neutralize it?

Could you try the Artic Fox Sterling?? I’ve been wondering about it on non bleached hair but have seen little next to nothing about it

On white hair, it is amazing, adding some dark and depth, but washing out so no big root line. It is not purple. It would probably tone blonde hair to an ash rather than grey. I use it on my roots to darken them.
It smells like grape cotton candy heaven!
I want my hair that deep burgundy that the fox on the bottle looks like. But the colors on these strands dont look like they have any pigment.
Adris she didn’t leave the dye in for that long so it didn’t come out very vibrant. The longer you leave it in the more color will come out, plus the good thing about arctic fox is that they already have conditioner in it so it won’t damage your hair if you leave it in for a long time :))
I am between 6 and 7, Does this cover grays too and how long does it last
The grays are still noticeable but they create nice highlights. The more you use these dyes the pigment will build up in the hair, especially staining colors like the special effects pinks. For me arctic fox, manic panic and a lot of the other brands fade out in a month, special effects (with a pink base) will fade and change but permanently stain the hair. I also have low porosity hair so before I dye my hair I wash it with harsher shampoo and hot water to open the cuticle to help push the dye in.
If you mixed a little green in the ritual would it have the same appearance as in the swatches of ritual on dry green hair?

Does anybody know if arctic fox washes out easily? Like my concern is if I’m stuck in the rain would it transfer to my clothes?
It might depend on your hair and how well it holds onto dye but in my experience the color should only run when soap is applied to the hair :)
Idk why but your ritual doesn't seem to have worked? On my hair it was BRIGHT plum-burgundy and lasted foreverrrr. Your swatches look way more natural colored for some reason. Maybe the formula changed?
I’m doing patch tests on my hair with ritual right now and even after diluting it’s super bright and vibrant and I wanted the more dull color so I’m sad lol
What product do u use to dilute?
I just use a white conditioner! I want to do a video in the future where I use brand diluters and see if there is a difference
