Lolll omg I’ll make sure to sign your card next time queen!! Forgive me! Your hair looks incredible 💜 Btw: the color on the labels are more true to what the results will be when it is applied to pale yellow/yellow hair rather than what the color looks like in the jar 😊
Hey Brad! Am I dreaming or was this an hour ago XD but i have a question! I just wanted to know if the was any particular reason why every time I dye my “ bleached hair” with semi permanent dye it washes out SO quickly! I tried so many different brands! Nothing will stick for more than a week :( I just wanna see if you had any tips?! Thank you ✨🤍
Love the hair and the color, Beautiful. I was thinking that the reason the blue and gray don't match the packaging is to cancel out any yellow in the har, so that you don't have to go platinum to pull off that color.
A lot of times dyes don’t look the same in the packaging as what they do after they’ve developed on the hair, I’ve never had a grey hair dye that was actually grey it’s always looked super purple at first
@@cccciara while they don’t technically develop some do get darker the longer they sit in the hair like lunartides for example. So If you wanted to you could say they do develop!
@@alexiskimberly yes i know. But the comment i replied to wasnt talking about the dye getting darker but about the dye developing from purple to gray. That is something that only dyes with developer do.
As a hair TH-camr, I feel like Stella should know this… they don’t match because they have to go on yellow/orange hair first so it will end up looking the way the jar advertises after
Stella, these colors go onto bleached hair, that has a pale yellow color. They compensated for that in what they show you on the packaging. The light blue dye mixed with the residual yellow of the hair will result in the turquoise, a grey on yellow bleached hair is always achieved with a purple color. Hair rarely is paper white. So the color shown on the packaging is supposed to resemble more closely the result you will get, the accuracy of the match depending on how much yellow or orange still was in your hair.
I bought a mint green color one time and opened it up to a very scary sky blue, but I just went with it anyways and it turned out the perfect mint color because I started with natural level 7/8 blonde hair. Packaging can be a bit scary but looks like Brad once again has the secret formula of colors ☺️ Beautiful color on your skin tone. You can pull if anything!!
I think brad mondo’s color are supposed to be applied on yellowish hair, thats why the colors are more blue/purple, to make the color that is on the packaging ;) but im not sure 🤷🏼♀️
It was today years ago when I found out that in Malta people speak Maltese and not Italian, and also found out that it is a language made of Arabic and Latin mix 🧐
Since the hair dye is intended to put over yellowish bleached hair, the colors are always developed to look like the packaging in the final result. You cannot have grey hair dye directly off the pot. It's always purple. Same with the turquoise, the color lacks the yellow it's going to get from the bleached hair
I've seen Brad Mondo's hair dyes in action before and they really perfected the formula to really make their colour stick to almost any level of hair. When she pulled out the pr package. I just knew it was gonna work. Most dyes would only slightly tint medium to dark brown hair but not XMondo
I actually love that the packaging colour is different - its so much more accurate when you account for the yellow tones in blonde hair. I have blue hair at the moment and I had to go through a few that told me my hair would show up the colour of that blue dye and beinh disappointed that it turned out turquoise instead
I think the reason your colour changed as much ad it did was because even though your hair was brown, it wasn't virgin hair. It was dyed using permanent dye, over pre lightened hair. So with that previous "damage" to your hair, the brown was covered a lot more than it normally would. That's just what I think though
I watched a lot of your videos and decided to change my dark green hair to bright deep pink and i'm absolutely happy with this color! Thank you so much)
It's looks really cool cause on the left you still a purplish tone from your split dye and on the right it's got pink tones for your previous spilt dye so it look really Intresting in a good way
I've dyed my virgin Asian hair Mahogany (warm red/burgundy brown) before and it showed up significantly. I think if it's reds and purples it can show up on dark hair. I'm not very sure with blues.
SO you are my hair guru - no pressure or anything. I do need your advice! We all have damaged hair from colouring - what do you recommend: 1. Get hair products to make your hair healthier OR 2. Get only colour saving products OR 3. Do we just get a mix of both?
if you use semi perm dyes the only damage to your hair would be from bleach in which case you should try bond building and deep moisturizing products, always get a trim after doing hair and you know dry your hair with a tee shirt or microfiber, sleep on a satin/silk pillow case that kind of thing, don’t brush wet hair, the usual
I think it’s because Stella’s hair was already processed, so it had some porosity to it, therefore her hair was able to take on some colour. I do the same trick with my hair when I dye it red, because red fades super fast constantly touching up the red on hair that’s already been dyed with a permanent colour is an awesome way to destroy your hair! I also find using a direct pigment makes the colour brighter too. I use manic panic 😊
@@yadiraamedrano yes and no. Allow me to explain. Some colours will leave a slight tint on virgin brown hair (virgin meaning, completely natural hair, not hair that’s been dyed your natural colour) from memory, these colours are: - Raven (which is black) - Vampire red - hot hot pink - after midnight blue - violet night - (maybe) infrared However, it will not stay long, perhaps 1 or 2 washes. How strong the colour appears will depend on how dark your brown hair is, and they probably won’t come out the same colour as in the tub. To get it’s true potential, I suggest washing your hair with clarifying shampoo twice, then without any other product (like conditioner or heat protectant spray, etc) blow dry your hair and then apply the colour you want, and then leave it in for as long as you can. Then rinse out with cool water and style to your liking. I stress, that it will likely be a slight tint. Hope this helps 😊

Hair question: I have naturally light brown hair. I recently did a semi permanent dye to auburn which I loved so I decided to go a few shades more red/copper with permanent color (all of this was done by a pro, not myself). And my question is why do you put color on the roots first and not the base if the base is what has been previously colored and the roots are virgin and will dye faster? It gives me a tad bit of hot red roots. I asked her but I also want to hear your opinion since you do so many fashion colors and specifically in this video did roots to tip with similar colors ❤️
Hi, she goes on the root first because with semi permanent it doesn’t really matter. Semi permanent colours have no developer in them meaning they purely deposit colour and do not lighten hair so the whole thing will dye at the same time, the roots won’t take faster, in fact natural regrowth won’t take semi permanent colour at all, only pre lightened hair will. I have a hair channel too and with semi permanent colours I always start with my roots because they’re the hardest part, hope this helped 💗
I will be purchasing this after my burgundy hair color starts to fade away. I just got my semi-permanent hair dye 3-4days ago. I love it and want to keep it. Do you have any suggestions on how to maintain brightness, moisture on semi-permanent hair dye? My hair dye is not purple and it's not red, it was from L'Oréal París and probably the best thing i have done to my hair ❤️🍒
