I love it,reminds me of a two seater car. No crowd, no party, just a couple without any guests aboard, maybe 1.

The boat seems to bounce from one side to the other. Would there a few balance problems due to the narrow saling base (3.5 m) compared to the height of the mast (10 m)

The template you are looking at is that of any modern monohull, so we are far from a conceptual roll since we keep the support of two hulls. You can read our full test here: www.multihulls-world.com/review/catamaran/hopyacht-30-for-making-short-hops-under-sailand-electric-power

@@MultihullsWorld Conditions: wind 5 to 7 knots, calm sea. Monohulls have a keel to bring the center of mass as low as possible.

Failure. Unsafe. Poor sail handling. You can tell from the rocking even in the harbor that it lacks stability. The sail area is clearly inadequate for a yacht of this mass. The $299,000 USD price is ridiculous. Figure $100k depreciation (or more) in the first couple of years. Anyone who buys this for $300k is a fool.

This is just your opinion... this little catamaran probably doesn't fit your program but will delight other boaters; the full test is here - because we sailed on this multihull and nothing happened to us: www.multihulls-world.com/review/catamaran/hopyacht-30-for-making-short-hops-under-sailand-electric-power

As a sailor I see a few design flaws too although a lot of great out of the box thinking too. Narrow to fit in regular birth but also not wide enough for required stability in a multihull. Easy to flip. Not enough sail area for adequate performance on all points of sail. How do you recharge those motors besides plugging in or waiting days for the solar cells to recharge? Very limited range under power. Poor sailing ability too. You get more gears and adaptability to wind speeds and points of sail with multiple sails as well as a big performance improvement. Genoas are the least effective sail shape. If only one sail why not a big main sail that is easier to control and more efficient?
