The mics need to be turned up on the vocals - especially Willow's. It sounds like she's whisper singing. The instrument playing are the usual top level/ better than fantastic!
i think you missed that there's no vocal mics. this is, as per usual, a one camera & mic capture of a live performance, likely an iphone was used to record it. when you record like this, instruments will always dominate over vocals.
@@ribbitism Yes! Thanks for that. I did my best to even out the vocals in post but there’s only so much we can do with limited mics. :)
Audio mix is an ongoing challenge. Maybe they could use three devices to record with, where two of those devices are close to each performer and then mix down from the three tracks? This unfortunately would be post production.
Dragging microphones and a mixer board around doesn't seem practical.
@@JesseBlueEads how about each of you having a phone or other such device in addition to the one recording the video, then mix down from the three tracks?

Awesome...but...I can't help but think of the movie Deliverance whenever I hear a banjo: "Dueling Banjos" is a bluegrass composition by Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith. The song was composed in 1954 by Smith as a banjo instrumental he called "Feudin' Banjos," which contained riffs from Smith recorded in 1955 playing a four-string plectrum banjo and accompanied by five-string bluegrass banjo player Don Reno.
