Taking my 5 yr old to Adventure in 2 days. He's been to Disneyland before and has seen clips and pictures of CA but doesn't understand it's a seperate place or that his favorite Pixar characters call it home. So excited!!
love the Smee costume! thank you for this, I’m going for my 25th birthday in october and have been looking at a bunch of places to see what’s gonna be out!
The first item, the hot dog, looked good. But I'm with you. I don't like messy food. Specially at a park. I like apple frys but have never tried their's. I would try most of those items. I had nothing at DCA but coffee. I kinda forgot.
This video was filmed on September 5th and 6th. The next time I’ll be in the park is Sunday the 17th. Sorry you missed me, but hope you’re having a good visit!
How often does DL change out specialty items? I’m assuming this will be gone by early Nov? Not sure how early Christmas items start - will they show up right after Halloween? Thank you!!
The Candy Corn Mickey Sugar Cookie looks really good. I don't see the 100 Celebration specialty food in the moble app anymore, do you know if the Halloween food replaced it or if you have to order it in standby? I was really hoping to try the violet pretzel when I'm there at the end of the month.
@@SoCalDisneyDadYeah that was the only one available. And before the Papa Bear left to travel he said “ I have a feeling we’ll be able to get those!” I check and 😭😭😭😭 Gone. But do they usually stop selling Magic Keys this time of year? I hear whispers of a price increase for admission etc. We won’t even be able to use those SoCal ticket passes before they expire on the 28th I don’t think.
@@InspiredByEbonyLove It’s unusual for the highest pass to be gone. That one has always been available. They’ve never taken it down before. The other passes become available 2-3 times a year. I couldn’t tell you when though. Last time was in April I think. So it should be due for coming available again. Maybe in the next 1-2 months.
I appreciate your honesty for food review because sometimes some vloggers may hype up the food. It's good to know which food is worth buying. Also, for the halloween parade, what location would be best to sit at for the start or to enjoy the show for its entirety?
The Oogie Boogie parade? There isn’t really a bad spot, but all the vloggers tend to hang out on the opposite side of Ariel’s. It gives us really good angles on footage because we can see down the whole stretch of road and gives us an easy out once the parade passes (you can head down the Grizzly Peak path toward Villains Grove).
Imma say this! I bought season passes to Magic Mountain because they had a great sale and it’s closer to us than Disneyland. It does NOT COMPARE IN THE SLIGHTEST to anything Disney has to offer and the food at Six Flags is overpriced. They don’t have anything I’ve seen close to the desert treats you have shown. Ice Cream started at $9.99 up to $17. Funnel Cake was about $17 I think. Look at that! Gorgeous cookies you don’t want to even eat for $5.99 and you can’t bring your own food into 6 flags like you can Disneyland. It made me appreciate all the detail to attention at DL. 💔
It’ll get covered briefly in an upcoming video in terms of looking at the area. But, honestly, not much has changed in terms of food. I looked at some of the food options a few weeks ago when Lucky Fortune changed its menu. I don’t remember what video it’s in. It wasn’t a dedicated Sanfransokyo video.
Unfortunately, no. I don’t usually do the dessert parties. I don’t usually stay for nighttime events in general. I have an hour and a half drive back home and I have a tendency to become drowsy driving. One too many close calls and I don’t generally stay late. So any evening event means I need a hotel and that ups the cost. If I were really close, it’d be something I’d consider.
It was all good food. The only thing I wouldn’t get again are the funnel cake fries and churros. The hot dog was tasty, just messy. The corn dog was excellent, just also messy. Not that I wouldn’t get them again. I think they both great. I loved the drink. Would definitely get again. The churros are a pass because it’s no different than a regular churro, but more expensive. You’re paying extra for the color and 6 pieces of candy corn. The cake pop is also very tasty. Just expensive.
At this point I have no plans to go to Disneyland, I’m just living vicariously through your videos 😂
I’m glad you enjoy them!
As far as food review videos go, like the honesty, variety of items, no talking with mouth full a plus. Great highlights of Halloween goodies. 🎃
Everything looks so delicious, but that sugar cookie is huge! Thank you again for all you do!
Perfectly timed upload, just started planning my DCA day in October!
I appreciate the honesty; that cake pop was expensive.
For real. It tasted good though. And I got a "free" MagicBand+ so there's that.
Pro tip: bring your own boba straw! I did when we recently went and had that drink. I knew they don’t have them from watching these videos
I am eager for the Christmas food festival booths.
I just hope they have Favorite Things and the Stuffing Mac ‘n Cheese.
@@SoCalDisneyDad oh man they had this amazing curry Mac & Cheese last year that was just amazing!!!
Truly appreciate your honest reviews! 😊

Omg! That chicken and fries looks delicious.
I've been watching your videos for months now and I don't regret it! I am going to Disney for Halloween! 💪😃 how was the weather right now?
10/10 Smee costume
Thanks👍
Great video as always. Just wanted to say though that there are many other locations to find then Magic Key exclusive Magic Bands.

The Halloween food will end on October 31st. There will be a few days between seasonal foods. On November 10th, all the Christmas stuff will start.

Unfortunately, I think the 100 stuff is all gone now. 😩
@SoCalDisneyDad thank you 😭. Some of the 100 Celebration treats looked so good. I guess I'll have to "console" myself with Halloween treats 🤣
I thought you were dressed up as Steve Zissou from Life Aquatic 0:59
SMEEEEE!!
I so wish we could be there. I was hoping to get a Magic Key and they stopped sales on all of them. 😩
I had heard they ran out of Inspire Keys. That's a first. Bummer you couldn't get one. Hopefully they'll open back up soon.

Has Disney ever offered a dining pass for season ticket/ pass holders ?
The closest thing would be a discount on the tasting passport for Food and Wine.
