- James turned 10 years old, and to celebrate at Disneyland we let him decide what to do the WHOLE DAY. He got to pick what to ride, where to go, what to eat, and more all day long.
At the end, we had a special surprise planned for him for dinner and he had an absolute blast.

Happy Birthday James! 🎉 I have recommendations for when you go to Din Tai Fung. Some dishes my family loves are sweet and sour pork baby back ribs, kurobuta pork xiao long bao, chicken spicy wontons, string beans with garlic, shanghai rice cakes, and any of the fried rice dishes. You really can’t go wrong with anything at Din Tai Fung.

Happy Birthday to James!! 🎉 Does Radiator Springs have a similar effect to Rise of the Resistance where the line is shorter an hour after opening, or is it better to go straight there from rope drop?
@@parissinclair6513 It only gets busier, there’s no dip or lull.
I think the Rise situation only happens because of its location in the park. It’s so out of the way most people haven’t made it back that far yet by 9 AM, so once the rope drop rush is done, there is this little lull until the regular flow of traffic makes it back that far.

We are hoping to come to Disneyland again this December, it will be our second trip for our boys, now aged five and two. Any thoughts or tips on the main street vehicles? Are there certain times of the day they are out? Worth it?
@@KristinaT.-en4js I think are running mostly in the mornings and evenings, but not really around parade times.
Not many people use them, so hop on whichever you like.

I actually didn't think wait times were all that bad, tbh. Pretty chill day. It was just Buzz that was weirdly long and the posted time was disagreeing with the line.
This day was a DCA early entry day.

When a line branches and you have a choice of right or left, which line do you think is faster?
@@leighims generally, the left. But there are exceptions to that rule. I generally try to avoid the side that has wheelchair loading or the side that has the physically longer line (there are a few like this).

@@vincentnnyc that was the day before, though that does happen rather frequently all the same. I’ve seen it a lot when we’ve been there.
We rode Buzz later that same day and were handed a card to help them improve the wait time estimates. Maybe they knew or were receiving complaints that the app estimates were off for that ride.

Hi could you please tell me - We have booked a three day ticket pass with genie. We have chosen our dates do we still have to reserve the days or the fact that we have chosen our days is that all we need to do. It's a tad confusing. We are coming over from New Zealand in Sept and we don't want to mess this up.
You select the days when you buy the tickets and those are your reservations. But you can change them if your plans change. You would just navigate to your My Disneyland tab and to the Theme Park Reservations option. Going there will also allow you to see your current Reservations just for added peace of mind.
