I worked with our 10U boys on your method for Fall Ball. I knew there was a lot we wouldnt be able to master in the limited time we had before each game. However, the coil, the wrist, the tilt, the snap, and bat path in general caught every coach's attention. By the end of the season, every team in our little town's 10U league was practicing "ready on release" to time up new pitchers. Our hitting improved dramatically despite me undoubtedly leaving out a lot of your principals. I'm excited to think about what can happen once we really grasp your total teaching!
Hi Richard, I heard a hitting coach describe the level swing as a spin out. He said because everything roared around, everything bat, arms shoulders, chest, hips, and yes legs. Mine is why do coaches teach this ? As always Thank you so much !
IMO many coaches teach this simply because it's what they were taught growing up. "This is how things have always been done" --> is a powerful force to overcome. In hitting, and in other things as well.
@@VicInNocal well yeah that’s what I did, I struggled for a while when I was doing teacher man stuff until I said f this I’m just gonna try to hit the ball and it’s working out really well

Can you do a review on what Jaime Cevallos teaches?
Thank you so much from Taiwan
🙂👍
What muscles are contracting when you’re unloading and beginning to uncoil? Is it back muscles mainly?

@@TeachermanHittingthank you Richard for your reply !
Its hilarious that some people think Albert Pujols would not do the HLP. Albert was Smart. Wasted no movement in the box.
This looks a lot like what coaches used to get onto kids for dropping their shoulder
The less I think about mechanics the better I hit
The more you practice the right mechanics, the less you have to think about them.

@@VicInNocal I probably have a “high level swing” but I’m not worrying about it anymore because of specifically how much I struck out
