Season six did have a few good episodes. All five actresses auditioning for the new role were really good. I respect all the criticism but please understand that there was no budget to bring in someone like Christopher Lambert for the last 2 episodes. Season 1 was one of my favorite seasons and I enjoyed this Black Tower episode. My least favorite episode was the total flashback episode with Fitz. It's my understanding that Adrian Paul did not even want to do season 6 , the funding was lower, and the producers stayed in Paris, cut it down to 13 episodes. They did the best they could. I remember recording the episodes each week and then being so disappointed with all the reruns. I really did not know what was going on with the show.
Cant say i have ever really fully watched the series. I was too young to watch it when it first came out and i have only really watched the odd episode here and there.

I'm not done with the episode yet, but I get the feeling that you guys didn't care for the series finale. Perhaps the mysticism or the "It's A Wonderful Life" trope, not sure. And while I can totally agree that season 6 is all over the place and generally skippable, personally I've always LOVED the series finale and thought it was a perfect way to close out the show. Is it a bit silly? Sure. Of course it is. But A) we're talking about Highlander, the whole premise is silly, no matter how much fun it is or how much we love it. And B) it's a great way to revisit all of these people from Duncan's life, characters we came to know and love, and to show Duncan that despite all his doubts and moral struggles he is a good man who makes those in his life better people just by being around them. Not to mention, it shows us the audience that these characters wouldn't be the characters we've grown to love if not for Duncan helping to make them who they are. Maybe I'm wrong, looking forward to hear what you guys have to say about it either way. But those are my thoughts on the series finale.
She's infuriating! "then this character died" and starts chuckling for no reason. Every other sentence, even if it's about something sad, she just chuckles like a school girl.
This channel deserves way more recognition. Keep it going guys.
I had no idea that a show reviewing my favorite show exists. Thanks for this. I kind of hated this season but all I bought all of prior seasons.
