Although it did file bankruptcy and shut down in the 2010's, Longaberger is still open online and selling baskets and housewares. The original company headquarters (no longer owned by the existing company) in OH featured an office building that looked like one of their baskets. they used to be sold by reps in parties at people's houses like avon etc.

Happy Friday, Dr. Dray and Friends!🎊 I’m mad about Hada Labo’s sunscreen. It’s in the blue jar (pot). Being in a jar will automatically turn a lot of people off but for me, it’s by far the loveliest finishing sunscreen I’ve ever used! I only use it in the morning (so the product stays clean) and I do my touchups with the Instree HA Airy Sun Stick. I love that everybody is so fired up about their sunscreens…but most proud of my hubby - who now comes out of the bathroom every morning saying, “sunscreened and subscribed!”❤️ ☮️💜

The colorscience total eye 3-in-one tinted sunscreen is great for you Dr Dray. I am fair and my veins also show through my skin more than they seem to for most. I always get told that I have good (obvious) veins when I get a blood test or donate blood! I therefore I need to apply concealer on my eyelids and around my eyes to counteract the purplish areas. I will purchase this product on your recomendation. I already have the Colorscience foundation...which I should revisit before it expires.

It has high UVA/UVB protection, is not greasy at all, no whitecast, doesn't clog pores (no comedogenic ingredients) like the La Roche Posay shaka fluid and costs 16€ for 200ml. I also bought someone the LaRoche Posey with TriAsorb. She loves it too. I wish the US would follow suit. I think people would wear more sunscreen if it were like Europe’s formulas. It’s so important-says the girl who (so far) is surviving stage 3 melanoma.

Hi Dr Dray I use Ultrasun spf 50+ extreme and the spf50 lip balm from the same brand - they're the best in my opinion. It's a hybrid longwear spf (doesn't sweat off) and doesn't irritate my rosacea and eczema prone super sensitive skin. I've tried many of the hyped spf's like the canmake and the beauty of joseann, but both caused reactions on patch testing for me. I can't use even many of the baby spf's from brands like Avene or LRP on my face, although I can use those on the body. My fitzpatrick one Scottish skin has not been pink during the current heatwave using Ultrasun and I've used this brand for over a decade. Here in the UK it's available in my local pharmacy and supermarket, so it's much more easily available than it used to be years ago. I like the cream of Ultrasun better than the Evy mousse - for me it's much easier to gauge the amount I'm using during application. Best wishes.

I tried the Target lip balm, but didn't like it at all. It has an uncomfortable numbing sensation. I got the Jack Black lip balm in Shea butter and have been loving it.

For some reason neither the light or the medium shade of the neutrogena tinted sunscreen is right for my skin. The medium is a tad too dark, and the light still leaves a little cast on me.

Ah yes, the Longaberger house parties. We would be invited to friends' homes and then, to avoid looking cheap, we would spend hundreds of dollars on baskets lol. I admit it, I caved a few times and I still use the baskets in my pantry. I spent way too much money on the large picnic basket which has never been on a picnic but looks cute gathering dust on the top shelf of my pantry next to the random appliances I thought I needed. I would love to know what amazing deal you got on that basket at Goodwill!

I love the Vichy mineral facial sunscreen-SPF 60. This stuff is not inexpensive, but my super sensitive skin loves it. I find it at my Walgreens. I’ve used this for years and while I may try something new/different, I ALWAYS calmed back to the Vichy. It’s matte and I just floof some powder over and I’m out the door. While it’s not cheap, I find I save money by not buying foundation!

I got my Stylevana order this past weekend so I got to try the Cosrx sunscreen and Purito, and I love how they feel. Omg!! I love how they apply and how they feel after wearing for a while and they don’t burn my eyes. I jumped back on to Stylevana and just did a large order to keep in stock and because I know it will take some time to get to me.

I grabbed the Neutrogena in light and I don't like it enough to rebuy in medium. I find it to still leaves a cast and I've never been a medium tone😬 I found that storing it upside down prevents the leaking. I've been using it up on my smaller and paler minion.

Using Colorscience Sunforgettable Classic and I have the Flex in Fair and the Colorscience Total Eye. I tried the Sunforgettable in Matte but it was too yellow so I gave it away to someone African and it blended in perfectly with their skin. I had it for more than 30 days before I opened it so I couldn't return it. I've been using Colorscience for a couple of years. I do have bare Minerals Complexion Rescue that I use in Winter. I just ordered Fre' SPF 50 in the untinted with the Argan stem cells I think. I'll have to check what part of the plant the stem cells are from. Curious if plant stem cells are really beneficial to the skin. I have used a serum for many years that has plant stem cells. For hands I have the Walgreens Hydrating SPF 50, and many other tubes of SPF 50 mineral water resistant. Last year I used Walgreens Sport SPF 50 for my hands. Being a Melanoma Warrior I just wear long sleeves and pants always!!

Hey Dr. Dray! Today, I tried the Australian Gold Botanicals sunscreen per your recommendation, and I have to say, it's lovely! The tint is perfect for my skin tone and the consistency is like butter cream! I also like the light fragrance. I've been using the Eucerine sensitive mineral face for about 2 months and I absolutely love it. It has kind of a weird smell that lingers for about an hour but it feels good. One problem is that it is really too dark for my pale skin. I'm getting the Neutrogena one to try next.
