Warnings to anyone wanting to do this:
1) Breaking the PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) that goes around the screen will remove the water resistance and dust resistance from the phone making it susceptible to both.
2) Removing the battery adhesive means your battery will just be flopping around in your phone.
3) Doing this without properly grounding yourself can cause serious microscopic issues to the components inside the phone
4) The screws are very small and the threading is very small. Reusing the old screws could lead to one not sticking. If that screw falls out, it could puncture the battery causing a thermal event.
5) Doing something like this does void any coverage from Apple. They may not even be able to do a modular repair on the device. There is a possibility they may even decline service for something like this.
If you choose to do something like this, be careful. It looks cool, but do your research and know the risks you are taking.

2) you can buy adhesive for battery as well
3)may happen but never had that problem with any of the iphones i repaired but using rubbergloves is what i am always doing
4)if you thighten it right then it holds good
5)iphone 7 is too old for service so it doesnt care
Phillip Baumgartner True but the PSA’s Apple uses are not sold so you are relying on a 3rd party for that. Not to mention the attention to detail it takes to remove all the PSA and then applying the new PSA appropriately. Since it’s PSA, as the name suggests, it requires a specific amount of pressure for a specific time to properly activate the adhesive. Without the proper tools, you’re unlikely to accomplish that. Lastly, again, the damage can be microscopic and rubber gloves are NOT the equivalent to grounding. I’m simply trying to provide information to people. They are more than free to decide if they want to do something like this on their own but everyone should know the risks associated with these kinds of modifications.
