A beautifully narrated film from the downlow married ex-military man's POV. But FIREBIRD is a masterpiece with same theme and high production values from a gay conscripted/enlisted man's POV instead. A highly recommended must-see!

This film tells the story of a university student who lives with his girlfriend. He receives anonymous love letters from a man, which unleashes his difficult battle with his sexuality.
"Snails in the Rain" places a lot of emphasis on the emotional battle of the main character, Boaz. He is clearly homosexual, and yet he denies himself of his sexuality. The film portrays his troubled life - how he suspects or fantasises every man he sees to be the writer of the romantic love letters. Yet, he continues living with his girlfriend, denying himself and his girlfriend of the happiness they deserve. It is quite a suspenseful but sad film. In addition, & don't want to see same suspect scene in whole movie & in the end they end the movie... without finding valid satisfaction.... didn't except he's attracted to boys & move on with he's beautiful girl....well i want part 2 ! Well it's good, evryone did great
It's been awhile since I saw this. Thanks for reminding. I have so much men now btw, but they only exist in my list. Will I ever meet any one of them in my lifetime is a ridiculous question. All of them are from the films that I've watched and it inspired me to list their names into my so called "husbuns" to remind me that they've been mine since I laid my eyes on them.
