Really useful, and to the point. Fixed the blocked jet in 5 minutes. It would have been very easy to break something without seeing this first, many thanks!
Great stuff, glad I could help out and thanks for the comment, had a few horrible comments lately on some of my videos so this inspires me to carry on. 😎
@@LurgsHowToGuides i had a different nozzle, but still help a lot the video, and ended up literally fixing more stuff lol, you go easy and quick, thanks for the help, it’s actually a lot easier than how it looks, and cheaper :))
Useful guide - I didn't know they were adjustable for one thing - but I think my problem is that the hose has a leak inside the bonnet. Do you know how to replace the hoses rather than the nozzles?
That's tricky as you have to trace it all the way to the washer bottle. If I was you I'd locate the split then cut it and put a joiner in. On my Van it bends where the bonnet opens and closes and splits there.
Have you run into doing the same thing with the rear washer nozzle on a hatchback? The hose for the rear washer on my Golf broke and I am trying to replace it (the hose) but getting to the nozzle (inside the top rear light) is proving challenging. I am also not sure how to place the new hose ends over the connectors to the nozzle and the splices. Any tips?
Hello. I have Lupo 1.4 TDI College, from 2000. It has additional two wires that go into the jet and those can be removed only if that wire part is unplugged form the wire part which goes into all the way to the engine. But the two wire parts are just stuck toghether. How can I unplug them from each other without tearing the wires in bits?
I should imagine it is automatic depending on outside temperature, or maybe it's always heated? After a drive give them a squirt and see if the water has warmed up
No idea, main VW Dealers aren't too bad compared with others. Heated mirrors often fail, they have on my VW T5 but I never bothered having them repaired or looked at.
Got a problem this morning on a fiesta water comes out the back spray , nothing to the front , I've taken the hose off the front and blown back to the bottle all clear there , cleared the nozzles and can blow through them push on the stork and there is nothing but pump must be working because it comes out the back , any suggestions because I'm stumped
This will be a process of elimination. There is only one washer motor so... 1) When you pull the Lever to squirt the front windscreen can you definitely hear the Washer motor going? If you can't hear then get someone to sit in the car and pull the lever whilst you listen in the engine bay. 2) If you can't hear the washer motor in step 1 then check all fuses (I had a fuse go and it stopped the washer motor working, it will probably be a 5amp or 7.5amp but check them all anyway unless you know which one it is). Hopefully that will be enough to figure out what the problem is. Good luck. Let me know how you get on.
I doubt if you can buy just the clips, you could try VW, if not you'll have to buy a new nozzle unit. Or you may get away with some tight duct tape around it (temporarily).
@ I took little one to the zoo as don’t get to see her much, it’s messy The baboons decided to rip things off the car and they took the jet washers Motorways are the big issue with the weather
Girish V Glad to have helped. Thanks for visiting my Channel, please subscribe if you found this useful, would really appreciate it. Have a great week.
I don't think you can. It's all built into the Rear Wiper Blade mechanism so think you have to get the whole thing. Is it blocked then? Try a small needle in the hole or blowing it
@@LurgsHowToGuides No, I don't think so, look. they show how to replace broken arm with a new one but they don't even touch the nozzle. th-cam.com/video/VNSPb8lvAIk/w-d-xo.html I've seen a different video withe the replacement of the nozzle but with a VW golf or anothel model which has the mechanism not on the windshield but lower - on a tailgate
Did you find a solution? I am trying to get to the nozzle without breaking my rear stop light and then how to replace my hose, specially how to do the connections to the new hose.
If anyone understands the plumbing of the wiper fluid I'd appreciate some advice. When I use my wiper fluid it runs down my foot rest (over the relays too, so it's coming from way above) and I can't figure out where it's coming from. - Left hand drive Golf 4
Hopefully someone will know. Seems very odd it's getting into the footrest. Just try and trace the pipe back from the squirter to the bottle, must be a split somewhere.
@@LurgsHowToGuides That's my issue. I just can't find any plumbing up there. The water pours from somewhere above the relay panel but I can't see where from exactly, even with the bottom of my dashboard removed.

Fabulous news. Glad it was useful to you.😎
I couldn't find a FORD video to show how to remove the nozzle, but these are the same as the Kuga and you've sorted it for me! Cheers 😊

Sorry not had to do that, if hose is not too bad try repairing it with a splitter or some good old duct tape. Hope you get it sorted.
Thank for the video Sir. Please help, mines are working but the water is pointing in wrong directions and it doesn't clear the screen properly.
You can adjust them up and down

Not sure I’m afraid, don’t know what the wires are for. Try some VW forums to see if anyone has an answer. Good luck
I have 2016 polo and I have 2 cables also..how to put them out?..🤔
Not sure I’m afraid.
Hi Lurgs. How do they heated jets become activated on a Golf Mk5 please? They aren't mentioned in the manual. Cheers and thank you!

My car came with the winter package. That means heated mirrors, seats and jets. Any idea how hard or expensive it is to fix that?

Is this the same for 2018 Passat?
Not sure, have a look at them and check the design, they do vary with different years and models.
Would this work on a polo 06?
If they are the same design it will, but I don’t know if they are the same
I lost one of those hose clips. Do you know from where I can buy those?

Is same golf 4 jets ?
No idea I’m afraid.
Where can I buy a replacement with that fitting to the pipe as drive through zoo had baboons yo-yo no good
Best bet is take one off then take it to a car shop or dealer to get a match

Not sure, it's worth a try but they might be different.
what do you do when your nozzles have two wires and you wanna take them off?
Two wires? Should just be one hose, what model is that on?
@@LurgsHowToGuides On my 06 Touareg there is a hose (screen wash) and also a pair of wires - I guess they're heated.
and how to remove the nozzles with electric heating? the wires are connected together with the nozzles :(
Oh, not sure I’m afraid not come across any like that
