Uh why is your tv blocking up so high? Your going to break your neck trying to watch a tv the way you have it. Typically your TV goes BELLOW where you have your 2 J-boxes for the tv. Otherwise, good job.
@@VinnieT I agree with @carbongrip2108. You may want to add some lower blocking as well and reconsider your mounting height. Eye level (when seated) is typically the best viewing experience.
Since we will be sitting around 10 feet away, if I get a tv that’s 80-90 inches big, the height that I’ve measured for the tv mount to sit on the wall should be perfect for all viewing angles. We plan to be able to watch the tv from our living room, dining room, and kitchen. We also have cats so putting the tv low is not the best option for us.
tip of the iceberg... good job.
awesome job man!
Great work, looks really good. Wondering why you are using 20Amp wire for your light cans. Do they pull that much power?
Thank you, and I know it’s a bit overkill but I just decided to use 12 wire since that’s what I had the most of at the time.
Wow!!!
Nobody uses recessed can lights anymore. They use led wafer lights that r less than a 1/2” thick no heat can be put anywhere n changed at anytime.
Yes I would agree, but it’s really all preference.
Are you doing the drywall, mud, and finishing yourself? That is so hard to do.
I have done part of the drywall and mud but not all of it, I will have some help to fully complete the rest of this.
@ I remember when my dad was redoing the master bathroom the only part he didn’t do was the drywall.
Yeah it’s not hard to do a small area, but doing an entire house with 5/8th thick sheetrock is a lot! Lol

This is because we plan to have a bigger tv and then I’m going to build out an entertainment system underneath, and thanks!
