I replaced my broken LCD screen with a new one bought from AliExpress. The new screen lights up but the back camera yields a black screen. The front camera is all right. I ask my wife to make a call to my phone. I received the call but heard no sound from the calling phone. She heard me OK. I must have damage the ear speaker. It appears to me that the ear speaker has no cable to the phone at all? When I made a call to another phone, it's received by the called phone but my screen turns black as if it's shutdown. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the tutorial on how to remove the screen... but you've got to be kidding us on the replacement part quality, if you're changing the touchscreen of an Xperia, there's a good chance it's because of a dead zone. And the replacement part you've used is suffering from the exact same issue. It's blatant, as soon as the finger goes over the zone (3:50) the display starts to act up... I know it's on Sony for that but watch out when you're making this kind of video.

I tried it to test my current installed broken glass display.Local differences in codes? I didnt get adhesive for earpiece.Any self sticking adhesive film good? Doublesided adhesive foil for plane interiors ? Any substitution for the B7000? It sold out here. REPAIR Successful , its easier than shaving =)
Hi, the code for test in this video is Sony test code, it might have some local difference but I haven't met that before, maybe you can ask Sony service center. And for the heat, it should be 100-150 centi degree and heat for 2-3 minutes. Original earpiece adhesive is recommended. If you want B-7000, you can buy it on the local store. Hope these can help you. :-)

No, but you can put some waterproof glue on it, like B-7000, when put back the screen

3:50 - Touchscreen does not work bottom left. Thats why you should not buy these cheap crap Displays ;)
