Good job. You're the first foreign vloggers, that I know of, that do Union Mall. I went there the last time several years ago for work clothes. A Karaoke bar? This is new to me. I thought that culture has long gone since, along with cassette tapes, CD's and such.
@@VintageThaiLadyBoy Thank you so much! 🤗 The karaoke bars surprised us and was such a fun discovery! The charm of them has not been lost on the younger generations, it seems! 😅
i was there around Desember 2022 and tha mall was almost dead. Many shops where closed (because of Covid). They did start with renovation as well, so seems like alot have been done and many shops been opened. Many schools nearby and also in the middle of Lad Prao and chatuchak. Popular amongs locals and the youngsters. Thanks for sharing!
We really enjoyed it, and we hope more shops and restaurants open up with time! It’s such a huge mall with so much potential. Thank you for watching! 🙏🏽😊
The Central Department Store their ancestor is the first Thai who established the first Thai department store in my country. The first branch is located on Silom Road.
I live on Ladprao opposite Union Mall. It was interesting to see s familiar place through new eyes. There's a nice little northern Thai restaurant on Ladprao near soi 4.
although times have changed and people are shopping online i believe nothinf beats good old fashioned shopping in malls ans markets... you can check out the items quality and fit and of course the feel of shop hunting is not similar to online browsing... kind of like orderihg food online vs dining in restaurants definitely different experience
@@allancristophe6810 We totally agree! 💯 As convenient as online shopping can be, for us it doesn’t replace going in person and checking things out! It’s so much more fun the “old fashioned way”! 🛍️
You are right! We did think the clothing there was a bit more…fashionable? But yes, the food court was not as exciting as Platinum! But we really enjoyed the boat noodles! 😊
Hi!J&L.If u guys wanna to taste the original boats noodles. There's a lot vendors stall surrounding the Victory monument and easy accessible via BTS sky train.Did u know the real meaning of "boat noodles"? There 're a lot of boats that selling noodles in the canal indeed but BKK adminstration government removed them on the ground cuz reason of clean and good environment.Have enjoy a good day. ❤❤❤
Hello! 👋🏽 The first time we ever tried boat noodles was by the Victory Monument! We still think that the boat noodles there was the best we ever had! 😋 It was also there that we had EST Cola for the first time. We didn’t know that the BKK administration government removed them; that is such an interesting fact! Thank you for sharing! 🙏🏽 We hope you have a beautiful day. 🤗
We love malls, so that sounds like a fun challenge! 😅 Every time we visit Bangkok we feel like there is a mall that we’ve never heard of before and we have to see it! We already have a list going for future videos! 😂
What do you think about boat noodles?
คิดยังไงกับก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ?
I think it's delicious..but the broth has pork blood I think that's why it is dark.
Yes, that’s right! We were nervous to try it the first time, but as soon as we did, we loved it! 😋
I love it 🎉
We love it, too! 🤤

@@BingoandBinew : Now there are two major brands of Malls that are The Central brand and The Mall brand.
@@pollee9167 Another great fact! Thank you for sharing! 🙏🏽😮
Usually when we bought cheap shoes or clothes we took them to a sidewalk shoes repair to add more support to make them stronger.
That’s so smart - we’ve never heard of that! 😮

This Union Mall is basically for teenagers. They are crowded after school and weekend.
Hahaha yes that what it seemed like, a young crowd there, for sure! 😅
If someone tries to make content, visit every mall in Bangkok. It will probably take about 2 months to finish. 😅Bangkok has many department stores.😊
