Don't be alarmed everyone, I didn't actually burn the cube. I'm not above it, but I don't actually own this one.
The magnet system is really interesting, especially the magnet holder under the corners. I have scoured GAN's site for any mention of this magnetic system and found absolutely nothing. Maybe we will get verification from GAN in the future, but I am fairly sure this was an initial idea that was abandoned on the final version.
There are other explanations though and I'm not claiming to know what GAN are or were thinking. It could be for consistency, or part of some manufacturing process that I don't understand. Either way it is compelling.
This is a good puzzle. It isn't great, because it's still a skewb, but it is definitely good. And if you're into this event, you'll want to give this one a try.

I was reminiscing on the cubing days, and you were one of the big ones I always watched. J.R cubing, cbc, convinsa and countless more. Just taking a look back at some of the old channels and wanted to give you a thank you! You guys were a big part of my childhood, and while I've moved passed the cubing stage I still look back at all you guys with the fondest memories.

I just want you to know that you were one of my favorite TH-camrs growing up, I got your logo sticker for my main and I’ve seen you in a few competitions and my dad talked to you, at one point you were the judge for my 2x2 solve and I did pretty well and you complimented it which I was really happy about. I hope you’re doing well

@Cubeologist The magnets are not glued in in the Enhanced because then you can remove them. That gives you 2 magnet settings - standard and enhanced in the enhanced version. That maybe the final version.
Yeah I admit there are tons of other explanations. This sounds reasonable to me.

bruh the X man wingy v2 has adjustable magnets In the cube no inserts.
Do you think the performance of the GAN skewb is better than the X-man wingy and the moyu aoyan? (speed, lockups, smoothness)
Is the standard version of the skewb as stable as the enhanced. I want to know because I don’t want a skewb that has two strong of magnets. Preferably, which one has the closest magnet strength to the AoYan

Yes! The Gan Enhanced is the best skewb on the market, and it's not too expensive, so it's a great first skewb.
Why did you take down you Gan 11 video Damian???
