Im wondering if this is my problem. i have a lift from 2013 and it just started messing up. Only goes down/up 1 to 2 times then i have to reset the switch inside the truck and it will work again. Was that what yours did before it went out?
You didn’t even explain what was the negative what was the positive the other two cables where do they go. I think to be able to replace that a video showing the people where each cable goes and their fuctions.
I did one wire at a time directly off the old on to the new so they didn’t get mixed up. Always a good idea to get a photo before you remove any wires just in case
The button was only working some of the time, I change the button thinking it was the switch, turned out that the controller was fine and it was the solenoid. It now works perfect
@@TylerCary mine is clicking when I go in one direction only and won't go up, hoping if I clean up the connections or replace the solenoid it'll work again

Yeah ours was very intermittent. And then would only go down.

Check for any loose connections or breakers coming off the battery
Thanks for the video, I am wondering if you are close or have anyone in oceanside, California?

Pull yours off first to confirm shape as some are different or have multiple attachments

@@stitchthisditchthat259 try to hit/tap the solenoid lightly on the side with a hammer or wrench and then have some one test the controller
@@TylerCary where did you pick up a new solenoid at?
@@stitchthisditchthat259 I got a universal one off Amazon, just make sure it looks like the current one on your truck and you should be good to go
