I think that Sid got more shine in the WWE for he got to be featured as a main event player and he got to face a couple of big time talent in his WWE stints.
I'll never forget the pop Sid got at Survivor Series 96, he was suppose to be the heel but the new york crowd wanted him to win.... Also the huge pop he got when he showed up to ECW, that was crazy....His WWE theme was great....My top 3 fav big men (Undertaker, Kane & Sid)...damn a sid vs kane feud would of been dope
A lot of people say Sid's time in the WWF was better than his runs in WCW but here's my take: sure his time in the WWF was more successful than his WCW tenure, but in WCW in 99-01, he had two WCW world championship reigns and a United States title reign which isn't too shabby when you think about it.
I feel like Sid was more of WWF guy as he had more great moments in WWF. Winning WWF World Title against Shawn Michaels at WWF Survivor Series 1996 and another one against Bret Hart at 1997. And most importantly he main evented two WrestleMania against Hulk Hogan and Undertaker.
I still think his WWF run was way better than his WCW run. Simply because he was used in a right way and he won the World Title for the first time against Shawn Michaels at WWF Survivor Series 1996 where fans were cheering for Sid and Shawn was getting boo. And he wins his second World Title against Bret Hart at WWF Raw 1997. And one more thing he main evented two WWF WrestleMania one against Hulk Hogan and another one against Undertaker.
Sid Vicious' run in WCW was awesome. Sid was a part of the most infamous moments in WCW's history, but he was always over, and he was entertaining. Sid Vicious Best WCW Matches: with The Four Horsemen vs Sting, Brian Pillman and The Steiner Brothers WrestleWar '91 vs Goldberg Halloween Havoc 1999 vs Chris Benoit Souled Out 2000
I saw what you did there with that softball reference. Sid is the man when I got into WCW in 2000 immediately became a fan. Sid has got a aura about him. Surprised you didn’t mention his brief ECW run. Great vid overall
I wanna save Sid's short run in ECW for a future episode Not a solo Sid ECW episode(too short for that); but something similar involving other wrestlers that had short ECW tenures
@@WeAreProWrestling so something like an ECW short runs. 10 wrestlers who had Brief but memorable runs like Sid, Dusty, and Austin, etc. I like the that idea
7:26 I'm glad you brought up how Sid's life almost came to an end because this is a scary reality of the wrestling business back then. Bruiser Brody got stabbed in Puerto Rico, Harley Race used to bring a shotgun to him at all the matches in the St. Louis territory, Jim Cornette threatened to shoot Brock Lesnar in OVW, and there are numerous stories both Memphis and Mid-South that involve firearms. The pattern from all those things I mentioned and others I did not is that in the wrestling business, it's very easy to piss somebody off bad enough to the point you either get shot or get stabbed.
I found that tag match the Skyscrapers had with Mike Blackwell. For context, Blackwell's partner was the Avalanche, and I don't mean John "Earthquake" Tenta.
Questions 1. Why didn't they put the tag team titles on the skyscrapers 2. If sid wasn't terminated how would his wcw title run would have been in 1993 3. You can agree his 2000 run was bad 4. You can agree his run in 1989 was his best run he should have been champion in 1989 or 1990
1. Sid got injured before they got the chance at them 2. Don't know considering 1994 was when Hogan came in 3. 2000 was bad only because he missed most of the year; but he was World Champion 4. His best run was either 1993(before the scissors fight) or 1999 as the Millennium Man
Well if Sid made his return to WWF post Invasion. He could have had an Intense Feud with Brock Lesnar which could be Awesome and other one that I am thinking is his feud with Triple-H during Triple-H reign of Terror time period.
Sir, the only Wrestler that actually reminds me of Sid is non other than Brock Lesnar in especially in his young time period(2002-2004). They were both strong and intimidating and scary looking Wrestler. They were big agile Wrestler. And most importantly the most common thing between them is they hate Johnny Ace as Johnny Ace was the one who told Sid and Brock to do that top rope jump. And because of that these two hate Johnny Ace.
Quick side note also, if Sid did happen to face Vader at Starrcade 1993, that left Ric Flair teaming up with Sting to take on the Nasty Boys and they were supposed to win the world tag team titles there. Don’t know if that would have been true or not.
I believe that would have been the case because of the angle between Flair & Missy Hyatt that didn't really have a finish to it Would have been weird seeing Flair & Sting as World Tag Team Champions together; knowing their on-screen history together, it probably would have lead to Flair betraying Sting & the 2 feuding again down the road
“YOU ARE HALF THE MAN I AM…AND I HAVE HALF THE BRAIN YOU DO!” -an infamous Sid Vicious promo If I remember one thing from his WCW stint, it would be the time where he powerbombed Brian Pillman so bad that El Gigante aka Giant Gonzales mercifully asked for the match to end in order to save Pillman from further injury yet it gave The Four Horsemen their only win in the War Games match after getting their butts kicked in previous War Games matches.
- I know he got beat up, but tell me was the Mike Blackwell shoot with Spivey the funniest Shoots in Wrestling History, and did Blackwell have it coming? - You got a good point about if Social Media was around in ‘93….can we agree that Punk, Page, Perry, and The Elite don’t have anything on Sid and Arn? And how do you think the Hypothetical Media Scrum would have looked like has Sid won the belt? - I know it’s Effed up to laugh her but do you think The Shlegdaddy of OTRS Central turned The Leg Incident into a bit of a meme in the 2010’s - Had WCW Not Rebooted itself in 2000 and tossed the World Title back and forth 25 Times…how long do you think Sid should hold onto the World Heavyweight Championship and lose it to who? - Finally, here’s the big one: Can we agree Screw Johnny Ace?
1. He had it coming the moment he went into business for himself 2. The Punk stuff in AEW is nothing compared to the Sid/Arn fight 4. Sid would have probably lost it to Hogan at some point 5. Screw Johnny Ace
Sid is the best big man who is not been inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame. Sid is Underrated to me where in his first run in WCW he should have Won the WCW World Heavyweight Title from Sting but Ric Flair didn't want him to win the World Title. And it was just a politics. And then you know his infamous backstage fight with Arn Anderson which was dangerous because of alcohol and tension between both parties. And that's why Ric Flair still hold grudge against Sid and consider him the Worst Four Horsemen member.

Question: Is Sid a WCW guy or a WWF guy?
Answer: Yes to both.

Sid was a beast
Why sid vicious not in the wwe hall of fame yet
Especially when Koko B Ware, Bella Twins, The Bushwhackers, Hillbilly Jim are in

RIP Sid. I actually did not know about the scissor thing 😮 😅 being on the road in those days was WILD

Sid needs to be inducted into the WWE hall of fame.
Fun fact about Sid & the Hall Of Fame; he's the only holder of the Winged Eagle Belt to not be in the WWE Hall Of Fame(as of yet)
How this man isn't in the wwe hall of fame is a shock to me as he deserves to be in
💯

good video
From Ding Dong #1 to Mike Blackwell who didnt want to look bad Sid is one of my favorite big men.."I DONT CARE WHO YOU BOY!"
I found that tag match the Skyscrapers had with Mike Blackwell. For context, Blackwell's partner was the Avalanche, and I don't mean John "Earthquake" Tenta.
Been waiting for this one

Sid Justice should have been in the hall of fame a long time ago. He’s more of both a WCW and WWE guy
Ya he had kind of a weird career. Would come and go a lot.
Remember we're only half the man he is and has half the brain than we do.
Quick side note also, if Sid did happen to face Vader at Starrcade 1993, that left Ric Flair teaming up with Sting to take on the Nasty Boys and they were supposed to win the world tag team titles there. Don’t know if that would have been true or not.

He was in wwf during the beginning of the attitude era. Just not for very long.
Where do i see sid as a wcw or wwe guy hmm both
