It really REALLY bothers me that not only do we have no trailer, but NO new artwork or screenshots either. All the promos are using material from Sonic 2. And we still have complete radio silence from Paramount. What is going on with this movie?!

The trailer has to be soon. It's only four months till the film comes. I haven't been hating on Paramount because I get they're trying to finish rendering the film. So we have to let them take their time. Although, some communication would definitely be decent to do.

I don’t know why they’re taking so long, it’s like their trying to do some No Way Home strategy. But we already know Shadow is in the movie, any design that we get of him isn’t going to attract that much attention, and there aren’t any other notable characters that could be in the movie, and definitely no characters that can equal the hype of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. Because it’s already been this long, and with no teaser, poster or trailer, I honestly think this movie will probably output about the same level of success as Sonic 2, which is super disappointing, unless paramount is actually cooking with some crazy marketing strategies within the 4 months this movie has till release.

To be fair the border Lands movie released not too long after the trailer. And the generations remaster is still advertising the brand over all. 4 months away isn't a big deal, at least they didn't cancel the movie. And December 20 is around half that month so they have time. A Holliday release would be huge so maybe they are saving it so it will really get traction. We got a teaser for spiderverse but I think it took another year or 2 to release a trailer.
What makes this whole thing funny is that people are mad at sega and paramount for promoting sonic movie 3 without giving them a trailer Im having a field day with this one
Paramount doesn't need to keep everything so secretive. This isn't the next Avengers or Star Wars movie we've been waiting ages for, It's the next Sonic movie. If Paramount keeps up their lack of marketing either they'll have no choice but to delay the movie or Mufasa is gonna end up destroying Sonic 3 at the box office since Mufasa has heaps of momentum right now and two trailers while Sonic 3 has nothing.
So I just want to say this. It's possible that the reason we don't have a trailer yet is because they had to make some revisions to the movie. Now bear in mind that I'm not saying that this is definitely the reason, or that this is what they did. Only that it COULD be what happened. And this is not a unique occurrence. This happens alot with movies and shows. So I would not be surprised if they changed something from what the original storyboards were going to be, or even possibly altered a substantial portion of the movie. This happens alot, and it would certainly explain why there hasn't been a trailer yet.
SEGA put that up, not Paramount. It’s like a group project that no one in the group worked on but then the night before the deadline SEGA decided to work on it but Paramount was responsible for making the trailer so SEGA had to slap this together at least for something to show.
Honestly, at this point, I'm not surprised by anything anymore. We're halfway through the month of August, the movie (supposedly) releases in December, and we still have no trailer. I'm convinced that Sonic Movie 3 has been delayed and Paramount is too chicken to say anything about it. And if not, they better BRING IT when they finally release the first trailer.
