I just ordered the OZ9c Elite X-grip w/optics. I did some research on current the market for pistols and ZEV is literally the rolls royce of pistols. I own the 5.56 NATO by ZEV and it’s amazing, and ZEV’s pistols look equally as pleasing.

I work at a gun range and we had one of these as a rental gun. It had constant extraction issues and after about 2500 rounds the slide SNAPPED IN HALF.

The ZEV OZ9 is a good gun and shoots very well. Now the mags (PMAGS) that come with it suck. I got one 3 days ago and it jammed. I even tried an older PMAG and it jammed as well. I used FMJ and duty ammo. I tried GLOCK mags and it shot flawlessly. I contacted ZEV and their solution was to send in the gun so it can be checked or send in the mags so they can send me 2 more PMAGS. I posted a review yesterday and it still is not showing up.
I built out a G19 MOS with a boogeyman customs milled slide, one of their milled and gold coated barrels, full fde battle worn cerakote, Vortex venom, Dawson precision suppressor night sights and Serpico trigger shoe for a few hundred under the price of this (including the cost of the pistol) . Don't understand why this is so much
Glock was made to flex for durability and recoil impulse reduction. Designed for military purposes. Wouldn't you be better off just buying a 2011 instead of this. Hell my m&p outperforms this

In closing, you stated you'd already shot around 250rds through the pistol before this review, my question did you experience the famous magazine FTF issues? Seen numerous reviews on this gun and they all pretty much say it exists. Your thoughts and opinions?
I did. I had 4 FTF in the first 200 rounds. BUT, the manufacture says 250-300 break in period due to tight tolerances which is likely if you take it down and see how tight the tolerances are.
All the negativity in the comments seems misplaced in my opinion. Personally I don't care what gun they feature in their videos, it's fun, informative, and entertaining to watch them!
Ok, well set up a paper target and draw and shoot! I dont want to see what a sharpshooter can do with it! I'd always rather see what an average shooter can do with it when drawn!
Not a fan of striker fired pistols but this one changes everything. I really like the beaver tail. Glock's Bite you. Flared mag well. 15 shot mag. nice grip and slide. The removable guts make for good cleaning. Also 350 dollar waterproof Pelican case is nice. Love it.
Gun is shooting all over the place, I do not think it is worth the price tag. It is not shooter's fault, but the gun's. In a personal defense situation, a stock run of the mill glock will perform same, even better, for one third of the price, imho
Personal defense is getting to be a regular excuse for not being so accurate ,but I like to plink and target shoot. For the price you would think it would be an iconic lifetime lasting pistol.

Your odd trigger reset technique drives me mad. You have it all backwards: you slap the trigger then approach the reset like it is the actual trigger break, then you just slam back your finger to fire off another round. You need to spend less time getting to reset, then more time actually pulling the trigger (take up the free play, get to the beginning of trigger stack, then solidly and methodically press the further till it breaks.) But like I said, you spend more time approaching reset than you do approaching trigger break.
And it`s probably not even +P rated nor even chrome lined though you don`t hear much about chromed pistol barrels. I have a Beretta 92 that came with a chromed barrel.

Modular is great. But when each component costs the same as a factory Glock...it lacks some appeal.

I don’t understand Gucci Glocks. It’s like dropping 20k in an 03 Honda Civic. The PPQ Q5 SF is only 1200, and has a steel frame.

My shadow 2 definitely sees better accuracy with heavier projectile. I'm rotating between 147 and 158gr 9mm.
