Honestly a quality reliable AR15 with 2 purpose built uppers (like a deployment kit) and a quality reliable 9mm side arm like a glock 17 or 19. If you are doing squad tactics, that have specialty roles, then maybe a quality DMR in 7.62x51 might be an ok choice, or a quality 12 guage pump to carry on your back for breaching. Rather than showing us your expensive toys for most folks it should be the ones they can get ammo , magazines and replacement parts rather easily and not so expensive . Top choice is an AR-15 in 5.56 , a Glock in 9mm , a shotgun in 12 gauge and a Ruger 10-22 in .22lr and a descent .22lr handgun . All are resonable in price , ammo and mags are abundant and fairly inexpensive and can be found everywhere and the after market goodies are everywhere . And by not buying the most expensive gucci models use the money for more ammo .
Might sound a little out there but I think a ballistic shield in your kit or trench would be a game changer whether it’s just enough for shrapnel or pistol rounds and just big enough for the fetal position. I’ve seen so many accounts of dudes holed up in trenches and dying from grenades and drones. It might not help much with those big ass tank mines they’ve been using to bust bunkers. But it could help a lot for trench defenses especially those big ones that can take rifle rounds even if it stays in the bunker for a dynamic fall back position where you can be safe from most shrapnel and completely safe from there rifles. With a couple of shields and some buddy’s you could make some good fall back points. It’d be like what cops do but with 3 guys per shield and on the defensive.

you want a 12 gauge, for trench and drones, a 223 for Nato ammo, a 7.62 for foreign ammo, a 45 acp sidearm for its common ammo, and stopping power, then last but not least at least a couple revolvers, a good choice would be a 357, and a 44 mag, with those 2 calibers you will be able to fire 4 different caliber rounds, and with questionable ammo quality, if it misfires all you have to do is pull the trigger again to go to the next round.
for ww3 you need uncomplicated, low maintenance weapons. For me .357 magnum revolver with 6 inch or more barrel, some unsophisticated pump action and Garand :)
You want something in whatever caliber the opposition carries. Other than that your supplies will have to be years deep. But a 22 rifle will feed you, easy to keep several thousand rounds and will also assist in obtaining the more desirable weapons.
An AR, a 9mm pistol and a rifle chambered in 308. Don't care about what make or brand they are. Lots of ammo for these types around the country. You can have all the guns in the world but all it takes one round and your done. All those fancy guns won't mean s**t.

The most important gun to have in a real SHTF situation is the one you shoot the most and/or have the most food for. For me, that's by FAR 22LR rifles and pistols. Specifically 10/22's and Mark IV's. Both are easily maintainable, upgradeable, and eat pretty much any grade ammo (besides Remington - but that stuff is like filling your food stores with moldy sawdust). Also, as kitschy as "self defense" 22LR rounds are, they'd be very handy for this type of situation for both hunting and general defense. Also, 22LR is probably the most likely to be a useful currency, as EVERY gun owner will have at least one on hand in most regions of the country.

Miss Matt and never thought I'd say it, but miss Chad too...lol..Glad it seems like you're on the right track tho Eric!! Keep up the good work buddy!!!
Since in Portugal the vast majority of gun owners are hunters/competitive shooters, and rifles are mostly bolt action, I would take a shotgun like that beautiful Super Black Eagle 1 gladly. Using 4,5mm shot in 12 gauge or a heavy hitting slug with a Cylinder bore choke wouldn't be that bad.
I’d like to see you go to Texas with a 1,000 yard rig and compete in the Texas plinking 1,000 yard challenge. That would be sweet and I think you could get the gold.
You didn't mention Ruger 10/22 suppressed. Can carry plenty of ammo, used as defense, and to hunt for food. Number one caliber for ammo sold. Probably the best all round gun for SHTF.
The smartest thing to do would be to have the Gus with the most available ammo already loaded in magazines…… P320, ar15 in 5.56, ar10 chambered .308, 12g. The other calibers will Be hard to come across ammo for in this type of scenario.
@Iraqveteran8888 you don't have a backup weapon? You can't carry multiple rifles on your person practically in a shtf situation. If something ever happens to your main, a pistol is light and handy. Also, in a cqb situation, a reload isn't always possible as switching to the pistol is faster than reloading. Real life gun fights, milliseconds matter.
Yea it happened fast too...something just doesn't feel right ab throwing brass thru them.. plus the brass cases get marred up leaving the mag and interning the chamber unlike steel
@ Exactly. That Russian ammo ban messed me up. Not only was it cheaper than 50 cents a round but the steel case ammunition actually shot more accurately and consistently than the brass casings. Usually I prefer brass casing for firearms but for the AK steel is far better.
You don't "need" a pcc. A 10/22 will lay down that same swarm. Look, you need a good AR , some backup replacement parts. A couple of good side arms, preferably the same so parts are interchangeable and a good shotgun. You pick the brand by what you can afford.
In that type of hypothetical situation I think ammo and magazine capability is most important. A weapon that takes AR mags or Glock 9mm mags makes sense. I no also agree about shotguns. Very versatile.
I enjoyed the list, especially the full auto P90... that is dope AF 🔥 Following your format of full auto sub gun, rifle, battle rifle, shotgun, and bolt gun, my list will be ... 1. B&T APC9 or APC300 suppressed 2. Steyr AUG A3 Nato stock 3. B&T APC308 4. Beretta 1301 5. Ruger Scout or Steyr Scout in .308
ARs for days, but now let me sing of the CZ Bren some praise. Tighter than a SCAR, puts me to mind of ACR, but cheaper than either by quite a few dollar.
You won't need a gun to survive WW3 if you are in the US. Since the US is geologically isolated from any superpowers that could potentially pose a threat against the US military. And the so called threat would not be any grounded troops but hyper-sonic missiles carring nuclear warheads. You would be vapourized if war reaches you physically. If you are in the richer European countries, probably the same, as you don't see that much of a russian military advance in Ukraine in the past year. If somehow the russians really marched over Ukraine towards the rest of Europe, you still won't survive. You will be facing drones, artillaries, airstrikes, any kinds of ground based missiles and rockets, and tanks and jets. I don't think you stand any slight chance against any single of these apparatuses with any handheld automatic weapon systems, maybe exept for the NLAW or RPGs.
Yea the drones are terrifying...imagine going dove hunting but the doves lock onto you and they are strapped w an ordinance and you have to stop them or it's over. All while artillery is zooming over you and ppl are firing machine guns and tanks are sending rounds back and forth
I've played with three ps90. I've never used a full auto one, but all three I used(two at gun ranges and one with a buddy) they all had major jams. I wanted to buy that gun since I could remember. When I finally held one. I fell in love with it. Then it let me down.

Have a piece to keep the peace.
Reminds me of that dude in the bunker in Tremors. All the hardware, no team.
Much love and respect, brother.
Hello Eric, been watching you quite a long time from San Diego, California
Definitely should do a budget version of this video 😂.
Nothing fancy🙏
God Help Us We Don't See The End Of The World.
We only get to choose whether or not we leave it nicer than when we got here.
Doubt that's going to help at all
magic 💫💫
You didn't mention Ruger 10/22 suppressed. Can carry plenty of ammo, used as defense, and to hunt for food. Number one caliber for ammo sold. Probably the best all round gun for SHTF.
Love the 70's glasses
The smartest thing to do would be to have the Gus with the most available ammo already loaded in magazines…… P320, ar15 in 5.56, ar10 chambered .308, 12g. The other calibers will
Be hard to come across ammo for in this type of scenario.
Love the hard look boss man. Keep up the fitness. Long live Barry.
Haven’t watched this channel in a bit… he got swole!
Back to the roots I see
Glad you’re wearing your glasses again
You should absolutely have a pistol as well. Probably goes without saying.
I don’t have much use for a pistol to be honest
@Iraqveteran8888 you don't have a backup weapon? You can't carry multiple rifles on your person practically in a shtf situation. If something ever happens to your main, a pistol is light and handy. Also, in a cqb situation, a reload isn't always possible as switching to the pistol is faster than reloading. Real life gun fights, milliseconds matter.
And I promise I am not trying to be rude or condescending or anything. Just genuinely amazed
This is our last decade.
AKM check, FN pistol check, Barrett .50 cal CHECK!
I got my M70 (AK), my AR, and my Ruger SR1911. Also my Glock 19. Only thing is 7.62 is a little hard to get right now.
I love telling people i have a .50 cal...especially when they dont know what a hawken is lol
I’ve got a 54 cal. Thompson
😂😂😂
You don't "need" a pcc. A 10/22 will lay down that same swarm. Look, you need a good AR , some backup replacement parts. A couple of good side arms, preferably the same so parts are interchangeable and a good shotgun. You pick the brand by what you can afford.
The next episode should be " The best rocks and sticks to survive WW4"
Learn to build bow and arrows and learning how a gas piston works could sure build air rifles if giving the right tools
That pinky ring 🔥🔥
In that type of hypothetical situation I think ammo and magazine capability is most important. A weapon that takes AR mags or Glock 9mm mags makes sense. I no also agree about shotguns. Very versatile.
I enjoyed the list, especially the full auto P90... that is dope AF 🔥
Following your format of full auto sub gun, rifle, battle rifle, shotgun, and bolt gun, my list will be ...
1. B&T APC9 or APC300 suppressed
2. Steyr AUG A3 Nato stock
3. B&T APC308
4. Beretta 1301
5. Ruger Scout or Steyr Scout in .308
ARs for days, but now let me sing of the CZ Bren some praise. Tighter than a SCAR, puts me to mind of ACR, but cheaper than either by quite a few dollar.
Happiness is a warm gun.
Good video, brother
Do a video on Bladed and Bludgeoning weapons too. Those would also be good to have.
Spot on! My list also. PS 90, 10" AR suppressed, SCAR 17 Suppressed, Beretta 1301 Tactical, Barrett MRAD and 107 20" suppressed. Yahoo!
Awesome video again! What are your top 5 handguns for WWIII?
Bro TRT is insane ! Damn this dude looks totally different
I had a feeling.Eric was going to make this type of video sooner or later.
Yup
Yea the drones are terrifying...imagine going dove hunting but the doves lock onto you and they are strapped w an ordinance and you have to stop them or it's over. All while artillery is zooming over you and ppl are firing machine guns and tanks are sending rounds back and forth
For me - Glock 17 9mm, DD AR15 .300blk 10", BCM AR15 .5.56 20", S&W AR10 .308 20", Remington 870 12ga. Honarable mention: Ruger 6mm creedmore 24", Ruger 5.7, Saiga AK 7.62, Glock 20 10mm.
And how are you going to carry all that ammo for those guns? Not to mention the guns themselves?
Does the DD worth the 2x-3x price?
@@cloudstrife5209 - I'm not. I am going to sit in my office above the garage and wait. lol.
@Average_Middle_Aged_American You are going to get hungry and thirsty eventually. 🤔🤷🏻♂️
Even the cabins in the mountains are getting crowded
I've played with three ps90. I've never used a full auto one, but all three I used(two at gun ranges and one with a buddy) they all had major jams. I wanted to buy that gun since I could remember. When I finally held one. I fell in love with it. Then it let me down.
Thanks eric great top 5
Hey Eric what about reliability of ak, and 22 huge amount of mass production bullets and availability
Also a good choice the 338 lapua magnum 🔥
I like #2 nice bud 👍🏼
1. Suppressed Honey Badger or Sig MCX Rattler (lightweight, great at dealing with human targets (hopefully not needed), quietly)
2. Ruger 10/22 Charger LITE (bug out survival, hunt for food)
3. Glock 19 with FLUX Chassis (proven, less parts to go wrong)
4. Benelli Super Nova 12 GA (cheap, reliable versatile)
5. Glock Mag fed 9mm PCC ( perfect pair for the G19)
