Great video Jannis! Starting to explore grooveboxes and synthesizers, this video makes me aware of the perfect option to connect my Nord Drum 3P to my Circuit Tracks groovebox! I cannot wait to try!

I really like your Nord Drum 3P videos. Even the quality of your videos are pro level. Plus I really dig your accent. :) The scale setup was a new info for me. Thanks for the ideas. It's quite clear that you have fun as well as we others do with the 3P. It's a killer instrument.

does it always choose the same 6 tones on a given octave??
can you choose the tones? can you play chromatic on the Nord Drum 3p?

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  ปีที่แล้ว +1

You can select any individual tone for all 6 pads. So all combinations of notes and pitches are possible.

I am not sure if I saw right.. but in some video it looked like a drummer kind of slapped and dragged his stick to the side and got a different pitch from dragging the stick along the pad...
is that possible to do with the Nord Drum 3? a little similar to the Seaboard Rise 2 where you can drag your finger and raise and low the pitch of the sound of a piano key....
can one do things like this as well?
and how fast can you switch between two saved kits?'
like an example, let's say you save an octave of 6 tones and as soon as you get to the last tone of that kit you switch with a foot pedal of some sort if possible?
and you get the next octave of the same six tones but all in one octave higher so that you can If you like play a scale of two octaves in a flow...
      is that possible?
or is the Nord Drum not suitable for live performances this way?
I saw the Roland Octapad... but it seems plastic to me...
the Nord Drum seemed more sturdy but kind of strange they did not have a separate channel for a kick pedal to add to it for live performances...
is it the same if you add a Loop or switch between kits pedal that it also will take one pad away from the 6 pads one have?
      thanks for getting back!

The reverb is soooo noisey. Very disappointed in the ND 3p. When will the fix this with an update.

Looks like there is a slight delay between your video and the audio which is a bit annoying.
