    Neat little Plugin. Good demo, Man. Thanks.

    Greta video. I think while digital EQs might match the curves, there is the issue of non linearities in analog EQs and processors.

    This looks so awesome! I am sold!

    Is there an alternative to Plug-in Doctor for Pro Tools?

  • @joanfranch

    I've been matching curves out of the DAW for a time, and now it's even easier doing it directly into it. When I have the curve I want, try different plugins matching them and choose the one I feel most adequate

    How do you match up the digital eq to sound like an analog emulation if you don't have the analog emulation to get the signal from to match it to?

    • @GreenLightSound
      @GreenLightSound  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Plugin doctor lets you load two plugins so you can match the curves.

      @@GreenLightSound Thank you. It's mentioned you can match the curves so you don't need to purchase the emulation. You can't match the curves unless you have the emulation to match it to. So you need the emulation anyway. Am I missing something?

    Thanks Joe, great stuff. Could you pls run through through the other tabs e.g. hammerstein and harmonic analysis and explain second and third order harmonics and what the nuances mean? 🙏🏻

  • @j-station

    What does the Hammerstein measure and how is it relevant to evaluating a plugin?

    • @GreenLightSound
      @GreenLightSound  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It measures harmonics - very useful in evaluating a plugin that adds them.

    Does the 2nd plug-in have different harmonic settings? I might be full of crap or disillusioned but the second one sounded different to me. Maybe it was due to the different parts of the performance

    Always so good! I would love if you would review Softube Console 1 Eqs and compressors as well as add ons… I use them often and can recommend!

    There’s a difference, the crisper top end is probably from saturation

    The 2th one got a little more meat using sony mdr7506

    maybe actually start your tutorial from the beginning of the process, not the middle. This video is useless for a first time user.
