Probably the best DIY introduction on TH-cam. Also, thank you for including the links to the necessary tools for this project. Can't wait to receive mine in the mail.
Hand tight until you can’t turn them anymore. Once you’re done, push the metal plate in to ensure the springs still go down slightly and bounce back up. The bolts have a metal spacer that leaves a gap that allows the spring to move slightly. So go ahead and tighten them all the way down.
1) disconnect battery. 2) remove steering wheel, disconnect and reconnect all connections (airbag cables and ground wires) check all connections and make sure they are plugged in all the way. 3) if light won’t go away use a code reader to reset any codes. That should be it. Let us know if you fix it.
Hey had a quick question, I installed a carbon stealing wheel on my g37 and now I have the traction control light on. Do you know how I can take it off didn’t have that light before I installed the steering wheel
Not 100% sure but it may be due to moving the steering wheel around while installing or a loose cable. I would disconnect the battery, remove airbag, unclip and reconnect everything including the ground wire. Check if there are any codes using a code reader as well. Let us know if it goes off!
Hi...can you please help to find out if this steering wheel will work on my right hand drive 2010 nissan skyline 250GT? I'm from new zealand..thanks in advance.
BTW, if your skyline only has steering wheel buttons on one side of the center trim, then order the steering wheel WITHOUT the trim. Because the center trim on this steering wheel has space for buttons on the left and right side of the trim.
@@DIYGarageNation hi..i need a little help pls? i installed the CF steering wheel but i have to re-installit so i can adjust to make it straight but i am having trouble removing it is kind of stuck, i tried tapping the sides but it wont work i cant take off the CF steering wheel..any advice pls?
@@dabossarielruano4839 First, make sure the bolt is off. Second, keep hitting it all around the steering wheel (left, right, top, and bottom). Hit it a bit harder with the palm of your hand if it does not come off at first. It will come off with increasing strength of blows. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the compliment! And good luck with the project!
Great video! Had to leave a like on my way out.
FYI: Your amazon link to the wheel may have expired.
I really appreciate it! Updated the links; please let me know if they work for you. Thanks!
@@DIYGarageNation The links do work. Thanks 🤙
Great vid man looks sick
Thanks!
how tight do you tight the 2 bolts with the springs? so that you dont over do it

Can I do this to my Nissan maxima???
This steering wheel does not fit the Maxima.
the back trim of the steering wheel rubs on the back when i turn now any tips on how to fix that
Either one of the cables is pinched or the trim is not sitting properly on the steering wheel frame. Remove it and check all the clips on the trim.
Same for g25?
Yes, same process and the steering wheel fits G25. Check the link in the description/pinned comment.

I think something wasn’t connected right because I unplugged and plugged everything back in, and light turn off by itself. Thanks

Yes, it will fit. The 250GT is the same as the G25/G37 in the US only right hand drive. Check the link in the description.
