I know people who had their tiny home built and asked for a number of modifications. You pay for those modifications of course but there are one level tiny homes. There are styles of tiny homes that are more square and therefore have more width than the typical 8-10 ft.
Not without a $30,000 Key money investment first. That's what it's up to now, regardless of which section you choose. Non-refundable, and a yearly lease. If they choose not to renew you after one year (and they don't need a reason in TN), you're out all that money. Oh, and they're only required to give you a 30 day notice. Also, their homes only have a 90 day warranty, even the most expensive ones. Who does that? I can get a better warranty on a toaster.
This video is seriously lacking in information. The "community" in Huntsville, AL isn't anywhere near completion or in Huntsville, AL. There aren't any paved sidewalks around the limited "cottages" either. Also didn't mention the large amount of money a RENTER has to initially give to the owner of the land to even move in there. Some of these parks are just computer renditions of the properties. Do NOT part with your money until you actually visit these properties and actually know what you're REALLY getting!
What you showed was not the Cottages at Pine Lake. It's going to be beautiful, but it is still a work in progress at this point, not the completed community that you showed. You might want to edit that, I doubt that community with all those amenities is $300 a month, and I'm sure you don't want to mislead your viewers.

Fixed income? NO WAY! Paradise Park in Desert Hot Springs, CA: $1K per month for the lot and about $100K for the tiny home. Rent "subject to change" (because I think private equity has invaded these communities.) You can provide your own home but the Community will want to make money on the purchase, so I'll bet they'll scrutinize it to death. Also who the Hell cares about tennis and pickle ball courts?
Tiny Estates in PA is very nice! I stayed there a few nights and had a tour of Atomic homes.
There is also a new community in Rutherfordton NC and a new community in Floyd VA
There should be tiny home communities for the elderly and disabled with homes designed for wheelchairs and safety rails .
Without stairs; more should have ramps to enter them.
