    There should be tiny home communities for the elderly and disabled with homes designed for wheelchairs and safety rails .

      I know people who had their tiny home built and asked for a number of modifications. You pay for those modifications of course but there are one level tiny homes. There are styles of tiny homes that are more square and therefore have more width than the typical 8-10 ft.

      Not without a $30,000 Key money investment first. That's what it's up to now, regardless of which section you choose. Non-refundable, and a yearly lease. If they choose not to renew you after one year (and they don't need a reason in TN), you're out all that money. Oh, and they're only required to give you a 30 day notice.
      Also, their homes only have a 90 day warranty, even the most expensive ones. Who does that? I can get a better warranty on a toaster.

    @kriscree8627 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

    This video is seriously lacking in information. The "community" in Huntsville, AL isn't anywhere near completion or in Huntsville, AL. There aren't any paved sidewalks around the limited "cottages" either. Also didn't mention the large amount of money a RENTER has to initially give to the owner of the land to even move in there. Some of these parks are just computer renditions of the properties. Do NOT part with your money until you actually visit these properties and actually know what you're REALLY getting!

    What you showed was not the Cottages at Pine Lake. It's going to be beautiful, but it is still a work in progress at this point, not the completed community that you showed. You might want to edit that, I doubt that community with all those amenities is $300 a month, and I'm sure you don't want to mislead your viewers.

      @@signalfire6 because they change their mind and the rules all the time. The Newest rule is that resale homes can't stay. The one in Colorado is in a region I really love, close to the canyons in Utah & Arizona and mountains, although the houses are too close without one's own green space and patio. What are the best options for a Canadian about to retire in a very simple community with farming and gardening options, who can tutor Fr / Sp, do some gardening, painting, etc. I do not enjoy the sticky weather of Florida or Texas.

    Some of these places are over $1k/month for the space. Use info as a jumpoff point as you research the right place for your own needs.

Rent "subject to change" (because I think private equity has invaded these communities.) You can provide your own home but the Community will want to make money on the purchase, so I'll bet they'll scrutinize it to death. Also who the Hell cares about tennis and pickle ball courts?
