  • A 7-year-old male domestic shorthair with suspected feline hyperaesthesia syndrome. Signs described by the owner included: twitching of the skin, ears and tail with vocalisation; high speed running; leaping into air at “invisible things” and hiding. The owner thought that wind and anxiety was a trigger (especially anxiety to other neighbourhood cats). The cat responded to pregabalin medication and environmental modification.
