This series got me into reading, and I only now just got to read Bitterblue even though I've wanted to read it since it came out and it resparked my love for the series. I have read and reread Graceling and Fire about 3 times, which is a lot for me and I cannot get over how not-talked about these books are!

Oh my gosh, yes! Witchlands and This Savage Song definitely do not get enough love! Truly Devious is also on my reading list - definitely looking to pick it up soon (once I finish Bloodwitch haha). I haven’t seen enough people talking about City of Brass (and Kingdom of Copper, which I’m currently reading) - it’s a series I’m absolutely in love with it at the moment!
Finally some talk about The Last Magician thank you , I had read it back when it was first published and completely fell in love with it and I was surprised at how long it stayed under the radar it definitely needs more love .
Absolutely agree with you. I loved the last magician ♥️♥️😍, truly devious and graceling! And the other two are ob my tbr!! I think the CITY OR BRASS by S.A Chakraborty is also very very underrated! The story is so complex and epic and the characterS so diverse. The male protagonist reminds me so much of Lazlo and Elias and I really think you would LOVE THEM as well!!

You should check out A Discovery of Witches (or also called The All Souls trilogy) by Deborah Harkness. The book contains witches, vampires and daemons and a part of the series is set in a historical period. I totally recommend it!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on The Reader Trilogy by Traci Chee. It's a super diverse fantasy series with amazing world-building and some of the best character arcs I've ever read.

Another very very very underrated series is Chaos Walking. Patrick Ness’s writing is amazing and his characters are so deep and beautiful (Todd is the most precious bean ever) and twists keep you going on and on until you realize you haven’t breathed in a minute which is starting to be long. Seriously the Chaos Walking series is so underrated, I highly recommend you check it out! Besides there’s a talking dog called Manchee and he is such a good boy!

One day, as he is walking around with his dog (Manchee) he finds a hole in “the Noise”. We then follow him as he tries to figure out what it is, where it comes from and what it means for the future. I am sorry I am not usually very good at this but I hope I did it right. If not, I’d recommend you check out the book’s synopsis 😉

My favorite underrated book series is the Waterfire Saga which is one of my favorite series of all time but almost no one has read them. To anyone who is thinking about reading it, I highly highly suggest it! I’m currently rereading it and it’s actually the first series I’ve ever reread.
I’ve recently read “Truly devious” because I’ve heard a lot about it. I felt so disappointed because I expected something absolutely different. The books were so slow and so predictable that I can’t even describe it! What’s more there’s no logical conclusion to the first book. If felt as if the author just decided to stop at that particular moment because she’d already written a decent number of pages for the book to be published. I agree with you on The Last Magician series! I loved both books and it’s so sad that it’s not talked about on booktube! But the plot twist at the end of book one still has me DYING! katsas grace is actually survival. She's really good at protecting herself in fights against both people and animals, she can fall asleep on comand, she can survive months in the wildernes without starving and so on.

Yes, Graceling! I completely agree...Graceling deserves a resurgence! I reread Graceling this month for the first time in years and I have an even greater appreciation for how well it has aged. I actually think that the reading order you chose makes a lot of sense! Choosing to read Bitterblue before Fire just helps the flow of the overall series. You get to follow a main character that you are familiar with before moving on to a different protagonist, setting, and time period.

I agree with you on The Last Magician series! I loved both books and it’s so sad that it’s not talked about on booktube! But the plot twist at the end of book one still has me DYING! I need this series to be talked about!! I need more people to read it so I can finally talk about the plot twist of book one lol
katsas grace is actually survival. She's really good at protecting herself in fights against both people and animals, she can fall asleep on comand, she can survive months in the wildernes without starving and so on.
Have you read the Name of the Wind? I feel like it's so underrated! I know a lot of people are intimidated by how long it is, but it's my favorite series of all time!

Bitterblue is my favorite in the Graceling series! I just think Bitterblue’s codes makes it a super interesting story

Thanks for the recommendations, Hannah. I’ve only read the Monsters of Verity from your list and you are right, it’s fantastic and so hard to explain how good it is. It’s one of those books that sticks with you. Adding the others to my “Hannah’s recommendations” list. Currently on a self-imposed slump because I am very late with my online course, and the tbr just keeps getting longer, but I’ll get to them... soon.

Omg YES Graceling is an OJ fave. I need to re read this trilogy ASAP. I agree that Fire was my favorite, and then Graceling and then Bitterblue. They're incredible stories nonetheless. I LOVED them and they're definitely part of why I'm a reader now.

Yes, Graceling! I completely agree...Graceling deserves a resurgence! I reread Graceling this month for the first time in years and I have an even greater appreciation for how well it has aged. I actually think that the reading order you chose makes a lot of sense! Choosing to read Bitterblue before Fire just helps the flow of the overall series. You get to follow a main character that you are familiar with before moving on to a different protagonist, setting, and time period.
