It took Square almost 9 yrs to make this game, first remake was glorified tech demo within small area for us to get used to new fighting system. After playing few hours I can confidently say this was what we been waiting since 2015 reveal.
ngl, you're 100% correct. i feel like they knew they had to sacrifice Remake to be the "intro/story" game before getting what we really expected. its similar to how the 2nd season or beyond of show is always better than the first season since they had to establish the characters, plot, and world building
I just found out a hack. When you find an area with shinra creates, and field item. If u save in the area and load. The boxes and field item resets. Best to farm potions and transmutation item.
There needs to be more than 1 opportunity to scan some of those enemies. Either that or i havent progressed enough, but i missed 1 enemy tied to a side quest in the grasslands.
The plasma discharge looks really cool.. ive literally just fully finished the grasslands and have missed 2 of the enemies to assess i did some of the ones i was missing in combat sim but just cant find last two think I've fully missed them.. guess i will have to get it after completing the story lol
It’s amazing the amount of content they put in this game, Remake was not small but this is monstrous, massive. With the free time i have it will be about a year to get the Platinum 😂

Enemy skill doesn't work like that. You get enemy skills from VR Missions now. Beta is NOT an enemy skill in this game. (Also "Sormr" already means serpent to some extent so you kinda just said "Midgard serpent serpent")

You'll get the option to skip the demo portion after your first fight with Cloud solo, but if you don't get that option you probably didn't select the bonuses at the title screen for previous games including the demo.
Ignore youtube and play the game as intended like the OG game. Discover the game on your own . I can see maybe on a second playthrough looking up guides. TH-camrs ruined gaming.
It's bullshit there are only a few enemy skills in the game. Such a missed opportunity to learn beta from the midgar zolom. In fact so many materia is missing and you can only get one or two of a few of them. The original was so much better getting able to get as many copies as you wanted just by mastering them. These demakes are ajoke. So much cut content.

I assessed the first 2 enemies i seen in the mythril mine and it apparently worked and unlocked it for me
You can go back a little later but no spoilers though.
Enemy intel, look for the enemy that do not have the “assessed” note in the list

4:32 Enemy Skill isn’t brand new. That was in the original game and in FF7 Remake. Clearly you just forgot about it.

Sadly no but graphics mode run smooth for me

You can use them after you've spent X ATB on the characters.

Enemy skill doesn't work like that. You get enemy skills from VR Missions now.

It didn’t give me the prompt to skip until you go to the reactor for the first time
For me it gave me the option because i played it on the demo. I transferes my save files from Remake, Retrograde and the Demo
You've probably figured it out but get far enough through the chapter and you'll get the option.

Lmao I think they are mostly for bosses, because to use the synergy abilities, u need ti use multiple abilities with different character first
