THESE WONDERFUL VILLAGE COTTAGES, THROUGHOUT THIS UNIQUE PART OF BRITAIN, HAS BEEN FEATURED IN SO MANY MAGAZINES CALENDARS AND FRAMED PRINT PICTURES' BUT THEIR BEAUTY IS AGELESS TOO. THE NATION TRUST HAS RIGHTLY EARNED SOME CRITICISM OF LATE, BUT , WHEN CONCENTRATING ON WHAT THEY DO BEST, PRESERVATION, WE WILL ALWAYS BE IN THEIR DEPT. AND EARN OUR SUPPORT.
The village is very beautiful , I was talking with one of the national trust work men when I visited he was very knowledgeable not just about the village but the surrounding area in general, so yes agree they do a great job on preserving heritage, it’s surprising just how much land and property they actually own, or entrusted with.
