I feel the same way having first discovered it nearly 10 years ago. Still makes me happy to this day to rewatch again once in a while.

ギタープレイだけじゃなくて音量のバランスにも気配りしてるとこも素晴らしい。

Bro those SEQUENCES are insane. The tapping is probably the easy part - its that rapid fire machine gun picking and the INSANE stretches in that section. Didn't think anyone was crazy enough to attempt that keyboard line. Brilliant.

Every time I watch this video I am just blown away at the way you are able to flawlessly translate this to the guitar. The use of tapping harmonics, as well as 2 handed tapping just blows me out of the water. Not to mention this is the most fluid medley I've ever heard come out of FF8. Bravo my good man. Bravo.

2:18 i just was struck with more awe then i already was.
My man has put every known and unknown guitar techniques in this one
The first few minutes in and I was yet to be blown away. But then the personality and skill started pouring in and my jaw dropped. His phrasing is unparalleled. His bends, squeals and unique segments are yet to be seen STILL to this day. The guitarist "House the grate" had amazing phrasing as well. Look him up for great game covers too. This guy is simply amazing.

See, these are actual covers - covers with some originality. I see way too many 'covers' that are exactly (or almost exactly) like the original, just played with a different instrument. This is actually really good, and doesn't sound silly because of direct translation of the original stuff to a real instrument.
After years, still one of my favorites to watch / listen.
