@@Dr.Thomas_Elliot indeed!!! we need this guy to come back, II had a few guitar students that wanted to play that one and his version of blinded by light FFXIII, I was able to pull of the latter, but battle on the big bridge, was something else. I may do a tutorial on the FFXIII someday. The guy is amazing.
Man all of the covers are astounding but, damn that cover of Birth of a God, especially its second part, is absolutely tremendous! Can't stop listening it.
My favourite part of the song was in the beginning of the Jenova sequence where it looked like he made an error and was out of time with the scale, but in fact was doing it for effect. AHHHH.
Wow the jenova part gave me Goosebumps been literally listening to this and a couple of your other videos for years I love your guitar remix of the final fantasy tracks thank you so much!!!!
After all the years, these videos still remain as one the the prime examples of what a very skilled guitarist can add to a given theme. Fantastic arrangements and execution!

ACTUALLY he does show his face in the VI-VII part 1 video when transitioning to the VII battle theme! Though I did just figure it out today after watching him since '08...
So much more depth than Black Mages, stunning technique blah blah but we all know that already. This performance just rocks so hard it's unbelievable. Eargasm!
SuperNova wasnt originally in the game by the way. It was added by Sony as the original skill he used "Was not extreme enough". You can tell because it shows our galaxy, and FF7 is obvioulsy not set in our galaxy :)
Yeah, it's mighty disappointing, but who knows... He could have passed away, became ill or a plethora of other things. All I DO know is that he's gone and most likely isn't coming back.
