The one that bothers me the most is Mario. Out of all the games he’s been in and all the possibilities for a final smash, it’s just a strand of fire
he should kick a meteor into the ground or something like in galaxy

Mario shooting fire is iconic, and I don't think they'll change the mario finale anytime soon.
It's actually a reference to an attack from Super Mario RPG.
Some of these would be hard to implement because of Mr. Sakurai’s concept of universally quicker Final Smashes and thus removing all controllable ones, but this is a nifty concept

I hate that he did that, the whole point of a Final Smashes was to add some cinematic flare to the fight.

If he has added Fierce Deity Link in the Triforce Slash and changed it to blue it would be be so bad
I guess you could say the transforming ones were objectively better than the cinematic attacks.
I always thought this decision as Sakurai trying to balance the final smashes, maybe?
Mario: Personally, I prefer the T-Rex.
honestly I disagree, its a bit too random even for a Mario powerup. It's more of a niche context sensitive game segment than a power you would associate with Mario

Im really happy for young Link comming back. But im dissapointed of his Final Smash.
Fierce Deity would have fit him so much. He didnt even need that much difference. He could still just use Triforce Slash but as Fierce Deity.
Same for me but with Toon Link.
I belibe his final smash should've been him using ballad of the gales to travel to the ocean taking the target with them, striking the target with electric music notes (from hyrule warriors) then using the canon.

For Young Link, I would've loved to see him slice the moon in half as Fierce Deity Link. He has done that, just not in an official game, he did it in Hyrule Warriors as his special transformation ender-thingy.

Daisy definitely needs the Crystal Gauntlet for her final smash... Peach's doesn't suit her well

Back before she got revealed as an echo, I was really hoping that they'd give her some of the crystal-related moves from Strikers Charged whenever they put her in.
Well, at least she still has one of the best Final Smahes on the game.
I think Peach’s could’ve been something from Super Princess Peach. Something like her getting super angry and makes a huge inferno to blast off opponents.
Why does Daisy eat flowers for a final smash anyway?
Maybe they're edible flowers. There is such thing as them. It is upsetting that Daisy's Final smash is a copy of Peach's Final Smash, in my opinion.

So in light of stuff like this, I view this not as "eating" them... It's more like they're "using" them. It's identical to the Heart Container item. You just... "use" it, and you get your health back. Same here most likely
Although I love Nintendo and I am grateful for what they give us, they were pretty lazy with some of these final smashes.

Robin: Instead of partnering up with Chrom (since he is now playable), should partner up with someone else, like Morgan who is the child of Robin
Link: Similar to his original Triforce attack, but to keep the theme of BotW, he uses Statis+ and Flurry Rush on his opponents. Statis Flurry Rush.
Zheng Wen Yu I think Robin’s final smash should have something to do with Grima. I mean it is kinda spoilers, but it’s a old enough game at this point.

I think that the final smash that they have is good, but with a bit of differences it would be better, like using a rain of power stars and finally throwing a grand star

They could have just changed rosalina's final smash from a normal power star to a grand star. Personally, I think it's better than the comet observatory.

To be honest this is what I would have only changed for Final Smashes which I consider necessary.
-Young Link should have used Fierce Deity Link but the effects would be just work like Triforce Slash
-Toon Link should have used the Four Sword (with 3 copies of himself) but it would still work like the Triforce Slash.
-Pit should have just kept the 3 Sacred Treasures.
-When Pokemon Trainer uses his Final Smash like in the game, Charizard should Mega evolve aswell. And each Mega evolution would depend on the gender of the Pokemon Trainer (X for Male & Y for Female)
-Duck Hunt should have just been a game of Duck Hunt like with Snake's Final Smash
-Robin should of had him calling upon a popular character from Awakening instead of Chrom or turning himself into Grima.

from this video, i was thinking that Dark Samus would change into a huge mass of phazon and rush into the opponent. the phazon would overtake the opponent, they would get totally corrupted, and dark samus would transform back into its own self while taking the place of the fighter and eliminating them. i would love this to be its final smash.

I actually like the lightning chariot better. That part of the game was strangely tragic and sentimental and it makes a lot of sense as well as reminds you that pit has the other side of him that isn't as carefree and child-like for him to use it

Indeed. It is definitely one of the Smash Bros. moments that made us truly connect to the characters. Despite being from the most hated Smash Bros. ever.
But it makes no sense character-wise. R.O.B hated the subspace bombs because it required other R.O.Bs to sacrifice themselves. So why would he use them?

I gotta say, Inkling's Final Smash possibilities are endless, considering how many awesome special moves there are in Splatoon. She could use the Splashdown, different bomb launchers, the Rainmaker like you wanted, the Sting Ray, Tenta Missiles, and maybe even call in other Inklings on Inkjets. They'd better give her something new the next game.
By the way, Dark Samus is the epitome of wasted potential.
I'd keep the Killer Wail, but make it PEARL'S Killer Wail. It's the strongest attack in the franchise!

A crazy idea would be to use things from the past 3 Kirby games. Kirby sucks up a robobot armour with hypernova, throws a friend heart at it and then uses a massive drill on the armour.
Maybe kirby could use the Star Allies sparkler
Possibly even the Robobot armor.
I kinda wanted High Jump Kirby to pick up a foe and jump with them to the blast zone

I like the idea of transformations but the whole reason they removed those was because it provided an unfair advantage if you do it correctly.
Sheik could use her harp. My choice would be Song of Storms.
Pikachu could use any of his Z-moves.
Greninja could use Hydro Cannon or Hydro Vortex.
Robin could become Grima.
Ryu could use the Raging Demon.
Peach could use the Vibe Sceptor's powers.
Bayonetta could use Umbran Climax.
And inklings could use Booyah bomb
Don't forget that Pikachu could also used his burst attack from Pokken Tournament
greninja being able to turn into ash-Greninja is way better honestly and Ryu doesn't know the raging demon only akuma and evil ryu the other characters I kinda agree with

Kirby should eat a piece of strawberry cake as a final smash. It has no direct impact but you know damn well every time he does it, it ends up summoning demons from the depths of hell

I think inklings alternative should be like this : they swing a ink brush around themselves and if and enemy is caught in it it starts a cutscene and a bunch of inklings get mini splatlings and the the enemy gets shot with so much ink it deals 75 damage

For the love of Reggie, I wish they would just make Fierce Deity the Final Smash of Young Link. Even if they just reskinned the Triforce Slash to turn him into Fierce Deity as he performs it would be fine by me. He even holds the sword with two hands as he strikes, so it would be perfectly reasonable to use with the two-handed Double Helix Sword anyway.

I think what he was going for wasn't the crit hit final smash, he was going for something along the lines of Chrom freezes several people in the area, then does the whole Ike thing where he slashes them a bunch then sends them flying

This is honestly a great video. So much nostalgia and great ideas. I like how you just showed clips of inspirations for final smashes, and let us do the imagining. Dark Samus final smash for instance could easily be made to look like Phazon mode, without changing how the final smash works.
Mario: this would be a cinematic final smash. Mario would run at max speeds. If he hits a person, they would be teleported on the bridge Bowser fought Mario in the first game. Mario waves and says "bye bye" and hits the axe. The person gets burned into the lava and will instakill If they're at 100% or higher.

I liked the old transformation final smashes. Gave you the chance of evading if the opponent had not so much skill but also to hurt an enemy if you could use it right yourself
Mario's should be:
Mario throws Cappy and if anyone is hit by Cappy, Mario can control them. You can jump off the stage, and they will lose a stock, or whatever happens when you die in any modes, and as for Mario, he uses Cappy automatically to teleport back onto the middle if the stage, just like he does when he selects a checkpoint on the map to teleport to, and that is the end of the Final Smash. If nobody is hit, the Final Smash ends. Mario can Disable the Final Smash while an opponent is captured by pressing B 3 times.
That would be too OP unless the opponent could mash out of it
That Moon Punch idea would have been a great Final Smash to see for Donkey Kong, as well as Fierce Deity Link, the Mr. L transformation, the Great Sacred Treasure, the S W O L E Dedede, and plenty more.
Some of these are ones I feel are fine as is, though. I like Meta Knight's current Final Smash better than the one proposed here, for example.

They should do what Super Smash Bros Crusade did with Toon Link. It showed the 3 other Links hitting the enemy is a rush-style attack. These Links were from Four Swords. After that, the real TL did a rising Spin Slash! It takes them really high, and does so great damage.

Most of these should be official. Young Link and the fierce deity mask would have been really interesting and King Dedede would have been way more entertaining to play as. Some of these official Final Smashes are lazily done, can't lie.

Actually, Toon Link with the Wind Waker actually sounds like a really cool concept! Although, it might be a bit complicated, playing different tunes for different effects sounds like a real neat idea!

Since bowser now has a smash where he's in the background, they could've given Ganandorf bowser's old smash but better. But, i know, i know. "They want em to be fasteeer." That's fine. He has multiple moves in his past as Ganon thaaat could've become a small cinematic. I feel like that was a missed opportunity. Same as with young link, they could've remastered ANY of his specials from Hyrule Warriors.

@@ARCEUS493ZELDA his rule is that the final smash cannot simply be transforming into a better version. if the transformation is limited to a single attack, that is OK. could still have young link become fierce deity link to slash the opponents to the blast zone, like how they handled wario man

@@RickSkylark875 It kind of would because, like Luigi in Brawl era, Daisy is forgotten and left in the shadows of Mario, Peach, Bowser, Rosalina, Bowser Jr, Wario, Yoshi, and even Luigi himself. It would have been cool to see a mix of Negative Zone and Daisy's Mega Strike from Mario Strikers Charged as her final smash.
